freebayes is a C++ library typically used in Artificial Intelligence, Genomics applications. freebayes has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

freebayes is a Bayesian genetic variant detector designed to find small polymorphisms, specifically SNPs (single-nucleotide polymorphisms), indels (insertions and deletions), MNPs (multi-nucleotide polymorphisms), and complex events (composite insertion and substitution events) smaller than the length of a short-read sequencing alignment.

Apply across rows in dbplyr (postgresql). Getting "Error: Unknown input type: pairlist"
            Asked 2021-Jan-15 at 08:47

I'm trying to filter on a condition that at least one of three columns has a value other than "".

My code works on a data.frame (or tibble), but on a raw DBI table I get an error:

            Error: Unknown input type: pairlist

Turns out only #3 (from below) works on DBI tables.

I have a workflow that requires an embarrassingly parallel step with different resource requirements (memory and time) for a slurm cluster. I decorated the workflow as per documentation:

I have just noticed what I was doing wrong. My cluster.json was overriding the request because of the following line:

After running the variant calling, I would like to merge only specific outputs as shown in d. This is giving me an error of missing input files. How to solve this?

            Install freebayes

freebayes is provided as a pre-built 64-bit static Linux binary as part of releases. Debian and Conda packages should work too, see the badges at the top of this page. To build freebayes from source check the development section below. It is important to get the full recursive git checkout and dependencies.
