I have added android:exported="true" to my only activity in manifest but still getting below error after updating compile sdk and target sdk version to 31.I also tried rebuilding the project , invalidating cache and restart but that didn't helped

After the build has failed go to AndroidManifest.xml and in the bottom click merged manifest see which activities which have intent-filter but don't have exported=true attribute. Or you can just get the activities which are giving error.

Add these activities to your App manifest with android:exported="true" and app tools:node="merge" this will add exported attribute to the activities giving error.

Transparent iFrame blocks mouse event when using react-scripts start
            Asked 2022-Mar-04 at 16:41

Has anyone ever come across this issue?

When using react-scripts start, everything seems ok on first load. As soon as a change is made to a file, all the mouse event seem to stop working (can't click on buttons, inputs, no tooltips etc.), even though the browser appears to update.

If I refresh the page the events work again, until a file is changed.

This isn't a problem in production as the watcher isn't involved there.

            Any ideas?

            EDIT:
I've found the problem but I'm not sure what the solution is. It appears that a iFrame is added to the DOM when the watcher reloads. It looks like it has something to do with licenses. The body within the iFrame is empty but there is some minified JS with a comment on the top line:

/*! For license information please see iframe-bundle.js.LICENSE.txt */

Does anyone know how to prevent this iFrame appearing.

I am running a Spring Boot app that uses WebClient for both non-blocking and blocking HTTP requests. After the app has run for some time, all outgoing HTTP requests seem to get stuck.

WebClient is used to send requests to multiple hosts, but as an example, here is how it is initialized and used to send requests to Telegram:

I would propose to take a look in the RateLimiter direction. Maybe it does not work as expected, depending on the number of requests your application does over time. From the Javadoc for Ratelimiter: "It is important to note that the number of permits requested never affects the throttling of the request itself ... but it affects the throttling of the next request. I.e., if an expensive task arrives at an idle RateLimiter, it will be granted immediately, but it is the next request that will experience extra throttling, thus paying for the cost of the expensive task." Also helpful might be this discussion: github or github

I could imaginge there is some throttling adding up or other effect in the RateLimiter, i would try to play around with it and make sure this thing really works the way you want. Alternatively, consider using Spring @Scheduled to read from your queue. You might want to spice it up using embedded JMS for further goodies (message persistence etc).

Does it make sense to iterate through layers like this and keep adding files (to some target, does not matter for now) and deleting the added files in case they are found with a .wh prefix? Or am I totally off and is there a much better way?

There is a much better way, you do not want to reimplement (with worse performances) what Docker already does. The main reason is that Docker uses a mount filesystem called overlay2 by default that allows the creation of images and containers leveraging the concepts of a Union Filesystem: lowerdir, upperdir, workdir and mergeddir.

What you might not expect is that you can reproduce an image or container building process using the mount command available in almost any Unix-like machine.

I found a very interesting article that explains how the overlay storage system works and how Docker internally uses it, I highly recommend the reading.

Actually, if you have read the article, the solution is there: you can mount the image data you have by docker inspecting its LowerDir, UpperDir, WorkDir and by setting the merged dir to a custom path. To make the process simpler, you can run a script like:

Mandatory Consent for Admob User Messaging Platform
            Asked 2021-Dec-12 at 16:09

I switched from the deprecated GDPR Consent Library to the new User Messaging Platform, and used the code as stated in the documentation.

I noticed that when the user clicks on Manage Options then Confirm choices, ads will stop displaying altogether (Ad failed to load, no ad config), and I can't find anyway to check if the user didn't consent to the use of personal data.

This is problematic as my app relies purely on ads, and I will be losing money if ads don't show up, so I want to make it mandatory for users to consent to the use of their personal data, otherwise the app should be unusable.

I have made a test project on Github so everyone can test this behavior. If you are not using an emulator, then you need to change the "TEST_DEVICE_ID" to yours.

            How can I achieve this?

I found a workaround for this, but this is no final official solution.

It seems that if a user consented to Personalized ads, a string in SharedPreferences, which key is IABTCF_VendorConsents, will contain ones and zeros corresponding to some vendors (I think). If he didn't consent, this string will be equal to 0.

Building untagged code is complicated. The simplest way i've stumbled upon for CoreDNS is mimicing a in tree plugin using symlinks. For this you have to create a symlink to the ads repository in the plugins/ folder using a command similar to the following: Assuming you are in the plugins/ directory. Make sure to replace ~/go/src/github.com/c-mueller/ads with the proper path to the ads repo.
