QUESTION
I am trying to get a Flask and Docker application to work but when I try and run it using my docker-compose up
command in my Visual Studio terminal, it gives me an ImportError called ImportError: cannot import name 'json' from itsdangerous
. I have tried to look for possible solutions to this problem but as of right now there are not many on here or anywhere else. The only two solutions I could find are to change the current installation of MarkupSafe and itsdangerous to a higher version: https://serverfault.com/questions/1094062/from-itsdangerous-import-json-as-json-importerror-cannot-import-name-json-fr and another one on GitHub that tells me to essentially change the MarkUpSafe and itsdangerous installation again https://github.com/aws/aws-sam-cli/issues/3661, I have also tried to make a virtual environment named veganetworkscriptenv
to install the packages but that has also failed as well. I am currently using Flask 2.0.0 and Docker 5.0.0 and the error occurs on line eight in vegamain.py.
Here is the full ImportError that I get when I try and run the program:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Feb-20 at 12:31I was facing the same issue while running docker containers with flask.
I downgraded Flask
to 1.1.4
and markupsafe
to 2.0.1
which solved my issue.
Check this for reference.
QUESTION
I used the database first approach. The model is right (or at least it looks like) But I always get this error. Please, I've already tried so many things.. The full code of my program (and even sql script by which I create my database) is here: https://github.com/AntonioParroni/test-task-for-backend-stack/blob/main/Server/Models/ApplicationContext.cs
Since I have a mac. I created my model with dotnet ef cli commands (dbcontext scaffold) I can use my context. But I can't touch any DbSet..
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-31 at 09:23You have net6.0
target framework which is still not released while you have installed EF6 which is a previous iteration Entity Framework (mainly used with legacy .NET Framework projects) and you also have EF Core (a modern iteration of it) but older version - 5.0 (which you are actually using for your context, see the using Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore;
statements there).
Try removing EntityFramework
package and installing preview version of Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.SqlServer
(possibly just updating to the latest 5 version also can help) and either removing completely or installing preview version of Microsoft.EntityFrameworkCore.Design
. (Also I would recommend to update your SDK to rc and install rc versions of packages).
Or try removing the reference to EntityFramework
(not Core one) and changing target framework to net5.0
(if you have it installed on your machine).
As for why do you see this exception - I would guess it is related to new methods added to Queryable
in .NET 6 which made one of this checks to fail.
TL;DR
As mentioned in the comments - update EF Core to the corresponding latest version (worked for 5.0 and 3.1) or update to .NET 6.0 and EF Core 6.
QUESTION
I have added android:exported="true"
to my only activity in manifest but still getting below error after updating compile sdk and target sdk version to 31.I also tried rebuilding the project , invalidating cache and restart but that didn't helped
Error- Apps targeting Android 12 and higher are required to specify an explicit value for android:exported when the corresponding component has an intent filter defined. See https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element#exported for details.
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Oct-05 at 10:38After the build has failed go to AndroidManifest.xml
and in the bottom click merged manifest see which activities which have intent-filter but don't have exported=true
attribute. Or you can just get the activities which are giving error.
Add these activities to your App manifest with android:exported="true"
and app tools:node="merge"
this will add exported attribute to the activities giving error.

QUESTION
When a project is specified only via pyproject.toml
(i.e. no setup.{py,cfg}
files), how can it be installed in editable mode via pip
(i.e. python -m pip install -e .
)?
I tried both setuptools
and poetry
for the build system, but neither worked:
ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-19 at 23:06PEP 660 – Editable installs for pyproject.toml based builds defines how to build projects that only use pyproject.toml
. Build tools must implement PEP 660 for editable installs to work. You need a front-end (such as pip ≥ 21.3), backend. The statuses of some popular backends are:
QUESTION
I am developing a RN app in Expo with firebase as backend. So far, the app only uses firebase auth and firestore and for whatever reason, I randomly started getting the error of ReferenceError: Can't find variable: IDBIndex
. I adjusted my firebase config to suit the v9 standards instead of using the compat
package. I ensured my app was not using Google Analytics. I have also downgraded to firebase@9.1.0 which matches up with the expo documentation and this other similar post.
I have also git reverted into previous versions of the app (with earlier dependencies and code) when it was working but still got back the same error. When this occurred, I entirely reinstalled node and npm because I thought that was the only other possible reason this could be happening but that was to no avail as well (getting the same IDB error). I still think this is a firebase related issue, but I am pretty much all out of ideas as to what it could be.
Here is my firebase config:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-07 at 22:22I've been getting the same issue, I've tried all the same things as you to no avail. I symbolicated the logs from firebase test lab and came up with this:
Generally I have no idea how all of these libraries work together, but are you using typesense with firestore? I wonder if your stack trace calls out the same files, but I can't find any smoking gun here. I'll keep updating this thread if I find something. (I would have commented but I don't have the rep yet)
Update: Looks like my build just fixed itself somehow, even submitting builds from this weekend that would constantly crash. So truly I'm not sure what happened but it may be resolved
QUESTION
It has been almost a year since I saw Jonathan Worthington presenting the new RakuAST in the YouTube video A Raku API to Raku programs the journey so far from TRC 2021. In the video, he showed that we could dump this new RakuAST using RAKUDO_RAKUAST=1
like this:

Answered 2022-Mar-08 at 11:46You need to checkout and build the rakuast
branch of Rakudo. The RakuAST work is still very much in progress, and has not landed in the main branch let.

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Oct-15 at 21:11Found the problem.
I was installing pandas_profiling
, and this package updated pyyaml
to version 6.0 which is not compatible with the current way Google Colab imports packages.
So just reverting back to pyyaml
version 5.4.1 solved the problem.
For more information check versions of pyyaml
here.

QUESTION
I am using MongoDB(Mongo Atlas) in my Django app. All was working fine till yesterday. But today, when I ran the server, it is showing me the following error on console
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Oct-03 at 05:57This is because of a root CA Let’s Encrypt uses (and Mongo Atals uses Let's Encrypt) has expired on 2020-09-30 - namely the "IdentTrust DST Root CA X3" one.
The fix is to manually install in the Windows certificate store the "ISRG Root X1" and "ISRG Root X2" root certificates, and the "Let’s Encrypt R3" intermediate one - link to their official site - https://letsencrypt.org/certificates/

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Nov-22 at 16:20So I got in touch with the JetBrains team via their issue tracker as @PhilipDukhov suggested and they solved my problem: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-48815.
I was using kotlinCompilerExtensionVersion = versions.composeVersion
in my app's build.gradle
file and this is incorrect. versions.composeVersion
is something provided by Gradle but it seems to be deprecated. Oneself should manually write the version which they're using there.
QUESTION
I am trying to set my env_file
configuration to be relative to each of the multiple docker-compose.yml
file locations instead of relative to the first docker-compose.yml
.
The documentation (https://docs.docker.com/compose/compose-file/compose-file-v3/#env_file) suggests this should be possible:
If you have specified a Compose file with docker-compose -f FILE, paths in env_file are relative to the directory that file is in.
For example, when I issue
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-20 at 18:51It turns out that there's already an issue and discussion regarding this:
The thread points out that this is the expected behavior and is documented here: https://docs.docker.com/compose/extends/#understanding-multiple-compose-files
When you use multiple configuration files, you must make sure all paths in the files are relative to the base Compose file (the first Compose file specified with -f). This is required because override files need not be valid Compose files. Override files can contain small fragments of configuration. Tracking which fragment of a service is relative to which path is difficult and confusing, so to keep paths easier to understand, all paths must be defined relative to the base file.
There's a workaround within that discussion that works fairly well: https://github.com/docker/compose/issues/3874#issuecomment-470311052
The workaround is to use a ENV var that has a default:
- ${PROXY:-.}/haproxy/conf:/usr/local/etc/haproxy
