            How to access canvas for a screenshot when using react-stl-obj-viewer component
            Asked 2020-Jul-31 at 19:18

            I'm using a component react-stl-obj-viewer to render a 3d stl image. I can render the 3d stl image correctly. Once the image is rendered, I'm trying to move it around and have a button to take a screenshot of it.

            Fixed the issue. It was an array that I needed to reference.

            var testThumbnail = geeL[0].toDataURL("image/png"); instead of var testThumbnail = geeL.canvas.toDataURL("image/png");

            .env variables showing as undefined in create-react-app UI
            Asked 2020-May-19 at 09:54

            I am trying to set up build-specific environment variables for use in our front-end (not NodeJS) ReactJS application initialised using create-react-app.

            I have created three files in my project root: .env, .env.development, .env.production

            For testing purposes I have put these variables in each .env file:

            You seem to be maybe missing some point following the docs, I have tried replicating the steps to see env variables, on both my local repo and a codesandbox repo.

            Both of them seem to be logging the expected env variable.

            See this codesandbox repo for more details. Please share the repo details if you have the code hosted somewhere else.
