QUESTION
I am new to python. so any help will be appreciated.
I have two arrays A = [1,2,4,2,3,5,3]
and B = [0,4,4,4,1,1,1]
for the function if I give A, B as input then I should get output as = [1,(2+4+2),(3+5+3)] = [1,8,11]
(if numbers are repeating in B then corresponding values in A should be added together).

QUESTION
There are multiple development teams in an area of the organization that work closely together. Each has its own Azure DevOps board under the same Azure DevOps project. All boards inherit from the same Azure DevOps process.
One team would like to add a field to a work item type, but only show that field on their board. The field would not appear on the same work item type on the other teams' boards.
Is this possible? Microsoft has good documentation for Azure DevOps but I can't find anything that speaks to this, and I can't accomplish it myself in the UI. Thank you for any insights.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 20:13If you add a new field to a work item type of some team project, this field will be available for all project teams.
Each team can customize the card view on each board (backlog or sprint): Add fields to cards, Customize fields
Additionally, you can use process rules to hide fields (Hide or restrict modification of a field based on a user or group) as Matt mentioned. You can find each team as a group [Team Project]\Team Name
in the conditions section.
QUESTION
Sorry I don't show my variables or anything, tried to give information only pertaining to the questions. This 1 Sub is huge.
Currently my code allows a user to select multiple files, the files selected will be sorted in a specific format, then loaded into 2 different arrays. Currently loads Columns D:E into 1 array and Columns I:K into another array (from selected files QSResultFileWS
, and returns those arrays to my destination FormattingWS
. I'm still trying to learn arrays so if the methodology I used to do this isn't proper, be gentle.

function to remove the blanks.

QUESTION
I'm writing a Firebase function (Gist) which
Queries a realtime database ref (events) in the following fashion:
await admin.database().ref('/events_geo').once('value').then(snapshots => {
Iterates through all the events
snapshots.forEach(snapshot => {
Events are filtered by a criteria for further processing
Several queries are fired off towards realtime DB to get details related to the event
await database().ref("/ratings").orderByChild('fk_event').equalTo(snapshot.key).once('value').then(snapshots => {
Data is prepared for SendGrid and the processing is finished
All of the data processing works perfectly fine but I can't get the outer await (point 1 in my list) to wait for the inner awaits (queries towards realtime DB) and thus when SendGrid should be called the data is empty. The data arrives a little while later. Example output from Firebase function logs can be seen below:
10:54:12.642 AM Function execution started
10:54:13.945 AM There are no emails to be sent in afterEventHostMailGoodRating
10:54:14.048 AM There are no emails to be sent in afterEventHostMailBadRating
10:54:14.052 AM Function execution took 1412 ms, finished with status: 'ok'
10:54:14.148 AM
Super hyggelig aften :)
super oplevelse, ... long string generated
Gist showing the function in question
I'm probably mixing up my async/awaits because of the awaits inside the await. But I don't see how else the code could be written without splitting it out into many atomic pieces but that would still require stitching a bunch of awaits together and make it harder to read.
So, two questions in total. Can this code work and what would be the ideal way to handle this pattern of making further processing on top of data fetched from Realtime DB?
Best regards, Simon

QUESTION
Sometimes I find myself needing to initialize an object with a property that matches the property of another object. When the property name is the same, I want to be able to use shorthand syntax.
(For the purposes of the examples in this question, I'll just keep the additional properties to a tag: 1
property, and I'll reuse message
in subsequent examples as the input/source of the information. I also indicate an extra unwanted
property of message
because I'm cherry-picking properties and do not intend to just use Object.assign
to assign all the properties of message
to the result
.)
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:26The best I have so far is
{ person: message.person, tag: 1 }
.Is there shorthand initializer syntax to achieve this?
No, this is still they way to go.
hoping that a property name would magically be inferred from
person

I am querying a database for an item using R2DBC and Spring Integration. I want to extend the transaction boundary a bit to include a handler - if the handler fails I want to roll back the database operation. Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:32Well, it's indeed not possible that declarative way since we don't have hook for injecting to the reactive type in the middle on that level.
Try to look into a TransactionalOperator
and its usage from the Java DSL's fluxTransform()

QUESTION
I have a dataset that was recorded by observation(each observation has its own row of data). I am looking to combine/condense these rows by the plant they were found on - currently a character variable. All other columns are numerical vales.
EX:
This is the raw data |Sci_Name|Honeybee_count|Other_bee_Obsevrved|Stem_count| |---|---|---|---| |Zizia aurea|1|5|10| |Asclepias viridiflora|15|1|3| |Viola unknown|0|0|4| |Zizia aurea|0|2|6| |Zizia aurea|3|6|3| |Asclepias viridiflora|8|2|17|
and I want:
Sci_Name Honeybee_count Other_bee_Obsevrved Stem_count Zizia aurea 4 13 19 Asclepias viridiflora 23 3 20 Viola unknown 0 0 4I am currently pulling this data from a CSV already in table form. I have been attempting to create a new table/data frame with one entry of each plant species, and blanks/0s for each other variable, which I can then use to c-binding the two together. This, however, has been clunky at best and I am having trouble figuring out how to have each row check itself. I am open to any approach, let me know what you think!
Thanks :D
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 18:02We can use the formula method in aggregate
from base R
. On the rhs of the ~
, specify the grouping variable and on the lhs, use .
for denoting the rest of the variables. Specify the FUN
as sum
and it will do the column wise sum by group
