QUESTION
So i'm building a design system for this company and the component system is displayed correctly in the design system storybook. But when I import it in the consumer app I get the following error
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-04 at 13:57I've had a similar issue when developing a component library using storybook and emotion/styled-components. The issue was that I was using the styled-components' ThemeProvider from the consumer app, as you did in your _app.js
. The solution was to create and export a custom ThemeProvider on the component library, using the library's styled-component package, like so:
QUESTION
I've got nodeJS/express application with rollup bundler. I use rollup config file, with command defined in package.json, like so: "build": "env ROLLUP_OPTIONS='prod' rollup --config configs/rollup.config.js". When i try "npm run build", i've got error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Apr-30 at 20:59The NodeJS version you are using on your Win7 machine is not compatible with the version of Rollup you are using, you can find this out by checking https://github.com/rollup/rollup/blob/master/package.json#L141.
By using the engine property a NPM package can specify which versions of NodeJS they are compatible with, in this case version 10 or higher is needed.
QUESTION
Very new to bundling. My team is used to code completion and being able to jump to the type declaration file of a corresponding component using command + click
in their editor (VSCode).
However the bundle generated does not come with this behaviour... I don't know how to go form here, or what I am missing. These feature are very important to my team. Any help is appreciated
Versions- typescript: 3.7.5
- rollup: 1.31.0
- rollup-plugin-typescript2: 0.26.0
ANSWER
Answered 2020-Mar-02 at 19:27Found the issue - it was because I was using absolute paths. Changing import paths to relative imports or using a plugin to convert absolute to relative import paths when building fixes this issue.
