QUESTION
I wanted to be able to track user locations for some features in my application, but I want users to be able to turn off location if they want. I've been using expo-location
to find the users location, request permission and varies other things. But when I use watchPositionAsync, I can't remove it when the user turns it off the feature. I read the docs and it said that I could use remove() but I get the following error when I try to do that:
Unhandled promise rejection: TypeError: client.location.remove is not a function. (In 'client.location.remove()', 'client.location.remove' is undefined)
For reference client is just a global object which stores some settings for the user (It's so I don't have to keep fetching it over and over again).
client.js
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Mar-28 at 03:28You are not waiting the returned object by the function watchPositionAsync.
Returns a promise resolving to a subscription object, which has one field
I take this source.
Try this code.

QUESTION
I am trying to build a macro to web scrape the status of a Cargo Shipment based on the shipment number. I am using the XML-HTTP method but I am new to VBA web scraping. I have tried to get the value by using the GetValuebyID,Tag, Class with no success.
The highlighted line is the one I need the value extracted from. [Need to Extract the 10 of 10 Delivered Value][1]
This is how far I have gotten with the code.
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Sep-04 at 11:58Ok, like I wrote in my comment. You can scrape the status with the IE.
Please note: The following code has no timeout built in if the dynamic content cannot be loaded. There is also no check whether the number passed in the URL is correct.
QUESTION
I'm trying to pass a trackingNo
to jsp page based on which button is pressed.
I created 2 buttons, addnew
and search
.
The addnew
is supposed to get the input trackingNo
from the input field and pass it to tracking.jsp if it is pressed,
and the search is supposed to get the input trackingNo
from the input field and pass it to a home_student_result.jsp.
I'm not sure what is the correct way to do it, so I tried using a nested form with "add" id in one form and "srch" id in another. After running it, only the top form works. The inner form doesn't work. Can anyone please help me, or suggest a better way to do it please?
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Jun-30 at 14:37You can use only one form
and click of button you can change the action
value to particular value depending on button click and then submit your form

QUESTION
I need to get the average color from a rectangle area of an image using JavaScript
.
I tried using tracking.js
but it doesn't allow to specify areas instead of single pixels.
ANSWER
Answered 2019-Dec-19 at 00:34If you need to get the average color of a single pixel, rather than the color of a rectangular area, please take a look at this other question:
Get pixel color from canvas, on mouseover
As you say that you need to get the color from a rectangle area from an image, I will assume you mean that you need to get the average color of a given area, and not the color of a single pixel.
Anyway, both are done in a very similar way:
Getting The Color/Value of A Single Pixel from An Image or CanvasTo get the color of a single pixel, you would first draw that image to a canvas:

This is a snippet from the page I am trying to parse with Pandas using Python:

Answered 2020-Mar-19 at 15:22pd.read_html()
only reads the text generated on the html, not the elements with their attributes. To achieve what you want, you might want to use an HTML parser like bs4 instead, and then find the table class='gene'
, then iterate through and
inside it. The code is something like below:
QUESTION
After a bunch of lines of code in the Expo/React Native Project, I wanted to test it on my iPhone. The first minute went well, until I got an unexpected Error Message:
Error: Exception in HostFunction: Malformed calls from JS: field sizes are different.
I had the Error during development several times because I stored a NaN somewhere accidentally. So far so good, happy that the Error Message came directly, I knew where to start to get rid of it.
Following is the Error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Feb-17 at 19:29If you are fetching this data on every app start and you don't care if this data is persisted offline, I would recommend using blacklist
configuration of redux-persist
to blacklist such large states from persisting.
If this state is static and not changing - you could also just write it to a JSON file and use that file as data source then.
QUESTION
I have written some code that tracks the GPS-Data of a user: index.html:
...ANSWER
Answered 2020-Feb-10 at 14:32Use the HTML5 local storage to save data through the client if your application is small and you dont mind it to be editable and clearable from the client.
However, if you need it to only be used by a certain user or you want something more complex you could try to do the backend with node.js which like PHP is for writing the server side code but it uses javascript which might be more useful to you.
Hope this helped. Let me know if you need anything else. :D

QUESTION
I have an index.js file that imports my CSS and a few packages, but after bundling everything and starting the server I noticed that index.js wasn't running. I did a simple console.log
in index.js and it isn't reached.
I copied the contents of my webpack.config
file from a previous project which was working correctly, so I'm not sure if it's a file structure/path error or what not. Any thoughts?
ANSWER
Answered 2019-Apr-12 at 13:28What's happening here is:
1 - webpack compiles and outputs into: './SiteAssets/scripts/RecruitmentTracking.js'
2 - HtmlWebpackPlugin, will then read the template file './src/index.html'
, and inject RecruitmentTracking.js
script inside the body.
3 - then, it outputs the result to dist/RecruitmentTracking.txt
I don't see any problem, apart from the file being a .txt and not .html. and would obviously not be interpreted by the browser.
Try outputting to an html file instead, it should work
