Bad request trying to add course in graphql

I am working on a class project where I am creating a fullstack website using Apoll Server with express on the back end and React for the front end. I am trying to allow users to sign up and then from their dashboard page add a course. Right now the course just have courseTitle, description, and creator which is the user's id. I am able to add a course from the graphql playground but when I try it from the front end I get an error:

I realized that I wasn't sending the user _id from the form the form submission so I gut the user Id and set it in the initial state so it was passed to the resolver. Maybe not be the best way to do it, but I got it working.

Why my 'Select' components in react are synchronized together?
            Asked 2022-Mar-24 at 16:47

I am currently using materialui to create a submission page. I have created two 'Select' components for the page, and there is a problem that if I choose an option from the second 'Select' component, the option from the first 'Select' component will be refreshed. I was thinking there is something wrong with the 'onChange', yet I have no idea about the cause for this problem. I want to select all the options from the 'Select' components before submitting the data at once.

Also, is there a way to disable the second 'Select' components before entering an option other than 'None' in the first 'Select' components, and enable it after a valid option has been entered?

Thank you very much for your time and help!

It's not about styling, but about your generated HTML structure. FormContainerPart is a form so when you're submitting your form (by clicking the button) you're submitting your Form from react-final-form AND your form from FormContainerPart.

And as you're not catching the onSubmit handler on your form by FormContainerPart, well it goes to default navigator behavior, which is: reload the page

So, as there is no need for FormContainerPart to be a form just change your styled to

When a form is submitted the name of the input is key and the value is the value of user's input.

FieldSelect is a Final Form wrapper for HTML element. That element can only have a single value selected at the time, so the submit will contain something like someName: 'valueOfSelectedOption'. FieldCheckbox is a wrapper for HTML element. Final Form library uses pretty widely used "array" setup for checkboxes that have the same name. I mean, if your form has something like , and user checks both of those checkboxes, the submitted value would look like this: asdf: ["a", "b"]. Note: Without Final Form library, the default HTML submit output would have been asdf=a&asdf=b. So, FieldCheckbox is actually using array as an output format instead of JSON (although, they look the same in this case). Here are a couple of links to React Final Form that you might want to check: https://final-form.org/docs/react-final-form/ http://jinno.io/app/12/?source=react-final-form If you want to change the field's value to something else than what it becomes by default, you should check parse (and format) field props: https://final-form.org/docs/react-final-form/types/FieldProps#parse https://final-form.org/docs/react-final-form/types/FieldProps#format

you might want to consider using something like react-dropzone. I did mix it up with react-final-form in my last projects & it worked fine. I stripped it off the validation logic & some other extra stuff, & uploaded it for you here. it's not class-based, but I hope you can work from here.

Any pointers are sincerely appreciated :)

React Final Form How to pass form values in a modal button?
            Asked 2021-Jul-05 at 09:37

I migrated my forms from Redux-form to react-final-form, everything was going well apart from a special case. I have a form with values, and when you want to save it, a modal with two buttons opens, the one to submit the form and the other to send an OTP with form values.

I have followed the documentation How can I trigger a submit from outside my form? with the solution via closure.

But when I want to get form values to a function I get undefined. I take care all the questions here but nothing seems to fit to my problem.
