The Rust programming language has many qualities, but Rust’s greatest strength is the community of people who come together to make working in Rust a rewarding experience. Hitrust 是来自哈尔滨工业大学的 Rustacean 开源社区组织。到目前为止，Rust 已经连续五年位居 Stack Overflow Developer Survey Most Loved Languages 榜顶，以其极高的性能、优良的可靠性、友好的开发体验、热情的开源社区向大家展示了值得期待的未来。目前，已经有很多组织和企业在生产中使用 Rust，比如 Mozilla、Dropbox、Figma、Microsoft、PingCAP、Bytedance、npm 等等。但与此同时，Rust 也是一门相当年轻的语言，其在 2010 年 6 月第一次进入人们的视野，并在 2015 年发布 1.0 版本，其生态还在逐渐发展并走向成熟的阶段。在这时，如果能有更多的开发者进入 Rust 社区，就意味着更丰富的可能性与更快的发展速度。作为 Rust 爱好者，我们希望可以借助学校的集体性，让更多人认识这门语言，学习这门语言，喜欢这门语言，并愿意为其发展做出一些努力。而且，此组织在召集 Rust 爱好者的同时，也是对开源的某种宣传。Rust 之所以能在今天得到这么多喜爱，靠的是庞大的开源社区和无数为之努力的开发者们。希望大家在了解 Rust 的同时，也能逐渐爱上开源，并愿意倾心拥抱这个自由而美丽的开发者世界。.
