            LassoJS and Marko-WIdgets
            Asked 2019-Aug-09 at 00:27

So guys, I'm in a bit little nightmare here. Starting using makoJs and Marko-widgets loving so far. But...

This is the thing I follow the organization of some samples and integrate with the lassoJS. So in the lasso way of doing things I do not get to implement the define component methods.

So what I need to accomplish:

I'm not quite sure what the question is, but with marko v4, marko-widgets should no longer be installed (only marko should be installed). You'll want to do the following:

            QUESTION

How to dynamically define dependencies for a marko template being rendered in express JS route using lasso?
            Asked 2019-Aug-09 at 00:22

For example: Consider a route /theme The route should render itself in the theme (read: LESS color variables) specified as a route/query param. Based on the theme parameter, a custom JS script may also need to be injected.

The scripts and styles may or may not be included depending on the provided parameter (which rules out preconfiguring a lasso or using a bower.json). This also means that the dependencies must be specified right before the route renders the template.

            I am currently using Marko v4 + ExpressJS + Lasso + Less + lasso-marko + lasso-less

I am not posting code as it's a little all over the place after trying so many things out. Please let me know if the description is not clear enough. Will try putting together a sandbox for demonstration purposes.

Lasso supports conditional dependencies based on "flags": https://github.com/lasso-js/lasso#conditional-dependencies

If you make the theme one of the flags you could then use the flag to conditionally pull in Less variables or other dependencies in your browser.json:
