Getting "Gateway Timeout" for Mautic behind Traefik proxy
            Asked 2022-Mar-18 at 08:22

I deployed an multicontainer application with Mautic behind a Traefik reverse proxy. However, I am getting a "Gateway timeout".

The reverse proxy's configuration seems OK as other containers within the application work fine.

I also changed the mautic settings to the mautics domain name.

            Any idea?

Not sure if you're using Apache or PHP FPM behind the proxy.

But... Traefik does not support fastCgi Proxy

We encountered this issue with Traefik and set up our mautic kubernetes with nginx-proxy for that reason.

I tried everything, but aparenty do not exists any slution who generate SSL directly on docker, everything I found uses the server level.

The most aproximated solution who I found is using ftraefik, but it will givinf conflict with mautic.

I'm attempting to set up Mautic (https://github.com/mautic/docker-mautic) on Dokku. I have everything working well except for the mounted volume. Mautic stores config files in the volume, so every time the container restarts it needs to be reconfigured if the volume is not set up. The instructions on the above page are:

It looks like the directory that the config files are stored in is /var/www/html instead of /mautic_data. In the docker command referenced, mautic_data in -v mautic_data:/var/www/html is the name of the volume on the host created by docker volume create mautic_data, not the directory inside the container.

I've never used docker toolbox on the mac, but on Windows with Docker Toolbox, only your home directory is shared by default. It looks like you have the project in /Library/WebServer/Documents, which is not your home directory. I recommend that you either put the project in your home directory or research how to share /Library/Webserver/Documents with Docker Toolbox. I think you'll likely find some answers about this here: https://www.google.com/search?q=docker+toolbox+shared+drives+macos&sxsrf=ALeKk00SOQVEtAU9hFcHPoxV75aJoMcWgQ%3A1621959319429&ei=lyKtYL_OGcqttQaEnI2ABg&oq=docker+toolbox+shared+drives+macos&gs_lcp=Cgdnd3Mtd2l6EAMyBQgAEM0COgcIIxCwAxAnOgcIABBHELADOgYIABAWEB46CAghEBYQHRAeOgcIIRAKEKABOgUIIRCrAlCoc1jsgQFgh4QBaAFwAngAgAHrAogB9AeSAQcxLjUuMC4xmAEAoAEBqgEHZ3dzLXdpesgBCcABAQ&sclient=gws-wiz&ved=0ahUKEwj_9cuoneXwAhXKVs0KHQROA2AQ4dUDCBE&uact=5

Please note that Docker Toolbox on Mac has never been tried by anybody else to my knowledge. Also note that you can download ancient versions of Docker Desktop from https://docs.docker.com/docker-for-mac/release-notes/

Issue when importing contact information in Mautic 3.0.0
            Asked 2020-Sep-03 at 04:04

I am currently using Mautic 3.0.0 with PHP 7.3.20.

I tried importing a CSV file from my local computer to Mautic. I uploaded the file and I chose , as a delimiter, " as an enclosure, \ as an escape and 100 as a limit (the default import settings). I was then redirected to the next step without any issues and because the file’s header column matches Mautic’s custom fields’ aliases, I just clicked on “Import”. I was then redirected to Mautic’s import history page and the import’s status was “Queued”.

The problem is that even after several hours, the progress is still 0% (0 rows inserted, updated or ignored). I thought that the reason was the slow connection or the file’s volume, but trying to import a much smaller file gave the same result.

Please help me fixing this issue.

JsonProperty attribute does exist in both "old" Newtonsoft.Json that was default in .Net Core before version 3. You are probably using the new System.Text.Json that won't understand this attribute out of the box.

You need probably to use the attribute from that namespace. Otherwise ensure that you use the same serialization and attribute anyway.

I have created a campaign form in Mautic and used the manual copy feature to integrate it into my HTML landing page (this is a landing page I have made in HTML. It is not a Mautic landing page).

In Mautic, users are saved as a "contact". The contact has a field called "tags".

I would like to make use of the Mautic Tracking Javascript so I can send a value to this tag field from my HTML landing page.

there is actually nothing wrong with your code, I tested it and the only problem was browser blocking the request due to cors origin, other than that it worked fine.

But I have a hunch in case it doesn't work, i noticed the tags is actually plural and in mautic contact form it taken as array, so if cross domain issue isn't there at your end, can you try tags[] instead tags. However i think normal way should have worked.

You must already have [Composer][composer] available on your computer because this is a development release and you’ll need Composer to download the vendor packages. Also note that if you have DDEV installed, you can run 'ddev config' followed by 'ddev start'. This will kick off the Mautic first-run process which will automatically install dependencies and configure Mautic for use. ✨ 🚀 Read more [here][ddev-mautic].
[Download the repository zip][download-zip] then extract the zip to your web root.
Run the composer install command to install the required packages.
Open your browser and complete the installation through the web installer.
