QUESTION
Iam using EventChannel to handle events from hardware barcode scanner. EventChannel is initialized in initState, in main class - it works through whole app. While change is detected, it inserts value into global variable (ValueNotifier - i dont know, if it is right) and then I need to work with that value in multiple widgets. I need some sort of widget, which will tell me, that value updated and it will trigger onEvent function - something like RawKeyboardListener. I tried using listeners, but when i do pushNamed, the listener is still listening and it runs code from previous pages, while scanning.
Is there any widget, that would be suitable for me? (cant use ValueListenableBuilder, because it has no "onEvent" function) Or is there any way, to remove and add listeners while moving between pages, or while modal bottom sheet is opened? (I need to access previous listeners, after Navigator.pop)
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 10:37I solved my problem by using listeners and ModalRoute.of(context).isCurrent.

I'm creating some routes using https://docs.mapbox.com/playground/directions/ playground and i would like to use the generated JSON to generate a DirectionsRoute

So i call DirectionsRoute.fromJson()
but when i do it, the application crashes with this error:

QUESTION
I am having trouble trying to iterate over a JSON array of objects from a remote URL using Flutter's FutureBuilder.
My goal is to:
- Fetch JSON data from an API
- Output the data into a 2 column gridview layout
The JSON data is an array of objects(or a List of Maps in dart), the objects have simple string data.
I know that I need to build a future to fetch the data from the API and decode the JSON, then I need to create a FutureBuilder to output the List data into my Gridview Builder. That is what I have tried to do in my code below.

I'm trying to use react-native navigation. I installed the app, everything went alright. Now I'm having this problem with Expo when I try and create a navigation in both ios and web:

QUESTION
I am using IntelliJ and I use H2 database file (.mv.db) and I need to only view its contents whenever I add something in it. I thought I'd be able to file 'Database' tab in IntelliJ but I didn't find it.
This is what I want (image below)
When I click "View --> tool Windows" I don't see a database option (image below)
I am using Maven, is it possible that a certain plugin I downloaded somehow blocked/removed the database option?
I know there's 'Database Navigator' that I can download as a plugin, but its support for JDBC including H2 is experimental. So it's not a good choice for me. I can't seem to find the database plugin, is there any way to obtain it?

The database tools functionality is also available as a separate product, DataGrip.
QUESTION
I want to use navigation bottom menu with using navHostFragment in main activity. But when I run the program ,it stops on setContent in onCreat method MainActivity java code. I try to use bindig class insted setContent directly but nothing changes.
this is MainActivity.java
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 19:33It seems that your HomeFragment
doesn't have no parameters constructor.
If you want to use fragment that requires constructor parameters you need to provide FragmentFactory
to navigation component.
Add empty constructor HomeFragment()
to HomeFragment, and it should work.
QUESTION
I am creating an app where I have complete manual control over every back button press.
I basically have widgets/views changing in my app instead of the Navigator pushing and popping new screens.
I created a function where I am able to display views 1,2 and 3. and go back using the back button on android. however in case of iOS the back gesture does not work and I am unable to change views.
any workaround? Help would be appreciated
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 16:25After searching on the web and trying numerous packages like cupertino_will_pop_scope and back_button_interceptor I found that none of them worked for my use case.
cupertino_will_pop_scope was a miss and hit thing so sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt.
here is a solution for anyone who hasn't found an answer to this yet.
as I mentioned before the WillPopScope works perfectly on android so no need to change functionality over there.
for IOS however I used Gesture Detector to detect a swipe from left gesture and do my actions accordingly.
QUESTION
I have a navigation menu that I made for a test application, there are some tabs that I want to hide if I am not logged into the application. After logging in, these tabs should appear. The problem is that after logging in, I go to the desired page and I don't see all the navigation menu icons. For them to appear, I need to click on one of the available icons (only 2 icons are available for authorization) and only then the navigation menu will be updated and everything will be as it should be. All 6 icons will be visible! Can someone help me with this? Here I described the problem with the code that I am using. I would be grateful for any help.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-14 at 13:53Your page is not re built after logging in the user, that is why your nav bar is not updated. When you click on the button it refreshes and correctly displays the new elements.
Instead of using a global variable you could look into a state management package in order to make the logged-in user available throughout your app. (article for getx the simplest one out there)
If this is simply a prototype and you want some quick and dirty, I guess you could trigger a reload of your app once a user logs in by wrapping your app with a widget that exposes a rebuild method. (article)

PHP requires the Visual C runtime (CRT). The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019 is suitable for all these PHP versions, see visualstudio.microsoft.com. You MUST download the x86 CRT for PHP x86 builds and the x64 CRT for PHP x64 builds. The CRT installer supports the /quiet and /norestart command-line switches, so you can also script it.
