SuperHubGT | downstream channel monitoring/graphing tool

SuperHubGT is a Python library. SuperHubGT has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. However SuperHubGT build file is not available. You can download it from GitHub.

The Virgin Media SuperHub is a consumer grade cable modem/router combo provided to customers of the UK based ISP when they sign up for broadband services. Virgin Media offer the fastest consumer broadband in the UK however the feature set found on their devices has never been great, particularly when it comes to monitoring capabilities. After suffering a few connection dropouts, I decided to try and put together a homemade monitoring tool to keep an eye on the health of the device and so created the "SuperHub Graphing Tool". Two Python scripts poll the SuperHub web UI for data, add it to csv files and then through the use of Highstock, the results and graphed and displayed on a webpage. For anyone interested in setting up this tool for themselves, the instructions below should walk you through everything you need.
