kandi X-RAY | automagica Summary

automagica is a Python library typically used in Automation, Docker applications. automagica has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has build file available and it has medium support. You can download it from GitHub.

The Automagica project began in 2018 with a focus on creating open source software to ensure that Robotic Process Automation technologies were accessible to all. With subsequent releases of Automagica, more advanced features such as Wand and the Portal required a service infrastructure to deliver more resilient robots, advanced services, and management and control. As use of these services has increased, the costs for hosting and maintaining the service layer have correspondingly increased. In order to drive the next phase of development for these important services, today, 13th October 2020, we are pleased to announce that Netcall plc, a leading provider of low-code, customer engagement, and contact centre software, has acquired Oakwood Technologies BV (trading as Automagica). Netcall will integrate Automagicas RPA into its Liberty platform, providing a powerful combination of RPA, Low-code, and Customer Engagement solutions. The Automagica Robot is no longer be available under the terms of the AGPL3 licence. Were not stopping the use of the services for robots already deployed. These will continue to operate with Wand and OCR, free of charge, for three months from today (13 Oct 20). Existing users of the Automagica Portal will also be able to access, free of charge, for three months, during which time users will be offered options to migrate to a commercial service. We wish to thank all contributors to the project.

Seems that inside PIP repository package was removed by Netcall company, probably they made this product non-free and removed its sources.

Only empty pip package is left, that's why module is still pip-installable but contains no sources inside. According to this history package was removed on Oct 16.

But there's still github project for this PIP module, here. Its sources were also removed on Oct 13. But git history wasn't deleted, I'll show next steps how to install your pip module from git previous history.

Do next steps inside command line (somewhere in temporary or writable directory):

Cannot able to send email from Jenkins using python script
            Asked 2020-Dec-07 at 08:50

I am having the script to send outlook email through python libaray win32/Automagica . The email have successfully send if i run the script in normal way(using IDE) when i try to run the same script from jenkins ,it throws "Exception: Could not launch Outlook, do you have Microsoft Office installed on Windows?"

outlook = Outlook(account_name=accountName) File "C:\Python39\lib\site-packages\automagica\", line 41, in wrapper return func(*args, **kwargs) File "C:\Python39\lib\site-packages\automagica\", line 4186, in init = self._launch() File "C:\Python39\lib\site-packages\automagica\", line 4202, in _launch raise Exception( Exception: Could not launch Outlook, do you have Microsoft Office installed on Windows?

Yeah ..Now it is working is because of Jenkins running under Admin rights and Outlook is in User Rights...after i start to run Jenkins on User rights(not Admin)it is able to send email through Outlook

            Install automagica

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use automagica like any standard Python library. You will need to make sure that you have a development environment consisting of a Python distribution including header files, a compiler, pip, and git installed. Make sure that your pip, setuptools, and wheel are up to date. When using pip it is generally recommended to install packages in a virtual environment to avoid changes to the system.
