QUESTION
I've read several posts that handle syntax highlighting, cat
and grep
(like this one and this one too) but haven't yet found what I'm looking for. I want to print an entire text file to terminal, and have a specific (repeating) word colored in red. Lines that do not have this word should be printed out too. Here's something that comes close, but only
prints lines that contain the specific word. This post doesn't show it, but the load word is colored red like it should.

Install colorized-grep
On a UNIX-like operating system, using your system’s package manager is easiest. However, the packaged Ruby version may not be the newest one. There is also an installer for Windows. Managers help you to switch between multiple Ruby versions on your system. Installers can be used to install a specific or multiple Ruby versions. Please refer ruby-lang.org for more information.
