In React, conditional rendering works in similar way conditions work in JavaScript. It uses JavaScript operators like if to the conditional operator to create elements representing the current state and then let React update the user interface to match them.


To apply conditions on the button in React, we can use state in React and then declare the state in the constructor method because it loads first when the component of React is loaded. To toggle between user and admin in React, we need to use an event handler to handle the situation. The difference between the condition and if-statement is that the conditional operator is a single programming statement. In contrast, the if-else statement is a programming block in which statements come under the parenthesis. A conditional operator is also used to assign a variable value, but the if-else statement cannot be used for assignment purposes. We are using the "if-else" statement to execute both the true and the false part of a user-given condition. The if block code is executed if the condition is true, and the else block code is executed if the condition is false. Likewise, in this kit, if the user enters their name into the text box, the system will not show any alert message to the user. If the user forgets to enter their name into the text box, the system will send an alert message to the user as "Name should not be empty!". It helps us to fill out the forms or applications without leaving any blank spaces.

Instructions

Follow the steps carefully to get the output easily.

  1. Install the Node.js and React on your IDE(preferable Visual Studio Code).
  2. Create React Application using npx create-react-app foldername.
  3. cd foldername.
  4. Open the folder in IDE.
  5. Copy the code using "copy" button above and paste it in index.js file(remove the earlier code from index.js).
  6. Open the terminal from IDE.
  7. npm start to run the file.
