Solution Kit Solution Kit

In this kit, we're going to see how to drop a list of row from a specified dataframe in pandas with simple steps. DataFrame. drop() method you can remove/delete/drop the list of rows from pandas, all you need to provide is a list of rows indexes or labels as a param to this method. By default drop() method removes the rows and returns a copy of the updated DataFrame instead of replacing the existing referring DataFrame. Let us see how to drop a list of rows in a Pandas DataFrame. We can do this using the Pandas drop() function. We will also pass inplace = True and axis=0 to denote row, as it makes the changes we make in the instance stored in that instance without doing any assignment.

Please check the code below to know how to drop a list of row from a specified dataframe in pandas,

Fig : Preview of the output that you will get on running this code from your IDE.

Code

In this solution we're using Pandas library.

Instructions

Follow the steps carefully to get the output easily.

  1. Install pandas on your IDE(Any of your favorite IDE).

  3. After pasting the code, remove first two lines of code and import pandas library(refer preview of the output).
  4. Run the file to generate the output.

I hope you found this useful. I have added the link to dependent library, version information in the following sections.
