QUESTION
I'm trying to implement a specific design but have stumbled upon quite a lot of complexities by now.
The main problem remains the background of linear gradient - it shall be stretched on the whole viewport to have the satisfactory effect (position: absolute;width: 100%;height: 100%
).
But that's not the only problem, we also have a background image P above that gradient image (with higher z-index and opacity 0.3
) and the gradient shall be only visible for header and footer (anything below must only have P and not gradient).
ANSWER
Answered 2018-Sep-28 at 15:21A solution is to remove z-index
from #about_center
to avoid stacking context issue1 then you will able to place #about_background
and #intro_text
like you want as they will be in the same stacking context of the gradient background. You can then place one below and the other above.
So you remove this:
QUESTION
When I run Gulp the UI page works on http://localhost:3001, but on http://localhost:3000 the browser serves a blank page that is stuck loading, no console errors.
I'm using WAMP on Windows 10, Gulp version 3.9.1, BrowserSync version 2.24.4.
This setup was working fine until recently, this has me stumped.
gulpfile.js
...ANSWER
Answered 2018-Jun-26 at 16:24when you go to experiments in the browser does it work?
It could be a browser update rather than gulp
I would try changing your host to dev.experiments.co.uk
then change the proxy to dev.experiments.co.uk
QUESTION
I have a PDFTron Web Viewer
control on my ASP.NET page where I can successfully view a static file 'GettingStarted.xod' already provided by PDFTron in the WebViewer folder. The file is returned by a ASP.NET web api REST
service. The file displays successfully while running the solution locally. On hosting in Azure
, I get the document from the web api successfully but the web page hosting the web viewer doesn't show the file, instead an empty web viewer control is only displayed. Please suggest how can I get the XOD to be displayed in the ASP.NET page hosting the web viewer control. The code for fetching the XOD file in settings.js file on WebViewer directory is as follows:-
ANSWER
Answered 2017-Feb-10 at 19:43It looks like you are running an older version of WebViewer that does not have the azure specific fixes.
You need to switch to the latest version. https://www.pdftron.com/webviewer/download.html
You can check your version by bringing up a developer console in Chrome, in the top left there is a dropdown that should say "", change this to ReaderControl.html, then run readerControl.docViewer.version in the console.
