How to plot the data of different columns using seaborn

Solution Kit
In this kit we are going to see how to plot the data of different columns using seaborn. The reason why Seaborn is so great with DataFrames is, for example, labels from DataFrames are automatically propagated to plots or other data structures. You can use the following basic syntax in seaborn to create a boxplot of multiple columns of a pandas DataFrame: sns.stripplot(x='variable', y='value', data=df) . The plotting functions operate on DataFrames and arrays that contain a whole dataset. Note: If we want we can also change the representation of data on a particular axis. The same can be done in boxplot.
Please check the below code to know how to plot the data of different columns using seaborn,
Code
In this solution we're using Seaborn pandas and matplotlib libraries
Instructions
Follow the steps carefully to get the output easily.
- Install pandas seaborn and matplotlib on your IDE(Any of your favorite IDE).
- Import pandas, seaborn, matplotlib using the below commands in the code.
- import pandas as pd
- import seaborn as sns
- import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
3. Copy the snippet using the 'copy' and paste it in your IDE.
4.Run the file to generate the output.
I hope you found this useful. I have added the link to dependent library, version information in the following sections.
I found this code snippet by searching for 'dataframe plot using seaborn library' in kandi. You can try any such use case!
Environment tested
I tested this solution in the following versions. Be mindful of changes when working with other versions.
- The solution is created in Jupyter notebook 6.5.2.
- The solution is tested on Python 3.11.1.
- Pandas version-v1.5.3.
- Seaborn version -0.12.2
- Matplotlib version-3.7.1
Using this solution, we are able to understand how to plot the data of different columns using seaborn with simple steps. This process also facilities an easy way to use, hassle-free method to create a hands-on working version of code which would help us to plot the data of different columns using seaborn
