In Python, you may use the "remove()" function to get rid of particular entries from a set. The element you wish to delete from the set is the only input for this function. A "KeyError" will be thrown if the element cannot be located in the set.  

  • remove(): The remove() method in Python is used to remove an element from a set. The sole argument for this method is the element you want to remove from the set. If the element is found in the set, it is removed and the set is updated.  


If you wish to get rid of several components at once, you may use the "difference update()" function.  

  • difference_update(): The difference update() function in Python eliminates several members from a set. This method accepts an iterable as its argument and clears the set of all elements found in that iterable.  

Use the "discard()" method if you wish to prevent the KeyError while deleting an element that isn't present in the set.  

  • discard(): Python's discard() function eliminates an element from a set. The element you wish to delete from the set is the only input for this function.
