# Room Night Tokenization
The room night tokenization is a system that uses the Ethereum ERC721 protocol to realize roomnight-chaining and tokenized it as a tradable Token. Vendors can use this system to complete the chaining of the hotel's rate plan and manage the inventory and price on the chain. Customers can purchase the room night to generate a digital room night Token. The Token is generated and transferred to customer's account after the transaction is completed. The generated Token can be arbitrarily transferred between customers. Customer holding a Token can complete the Token's consumption (check in) at the corresponding hotel, or they can negotiate with the hotel to destroy the Token and return the purchase funds.

Spree Travel Hotel

Spree Travel Hotel is intended to be a part of [Spree Travel](https://github.com/openjaf/spree_travel/), providing spree e-commerce platform with the essential functionalities to behave as a travel agency management platform. This means that this spree extension will add new models, behaviors, views, etc… to spree, and will modify some of the definition it holds.

###Important Note
The Spree Travel project is a work in progress, and will suffer major changes. Please use it and keep a live feedback with the team by opening a [GitHub issue](https://github.com/openjaf/spree_travel_hotel/issues/new).

Requirements

### Rails and Spree
Spree Travel Hotel now requires Rails version **>= 4.0** and a Spree version **>=2.3**.
### Spree Travel Core
Spree Travel Hotel now requires a [Spree Travel Core](https://github.com/openjaf/spree_travel_core) version **>=2.3**.

Installation
------------

Spree Travel Hotel is not yet distributed as a gem, so it should be used in your app with a git reference or you can download the source and build the gem on your own.

1. Add the following to your Gemfile

  ```ruby
    gem 'spree_travel_hotel’, :github => 'openjaf/spree_travel_hotel', :branch => '3-0-stable'
  ```

2. Run `bundle install`

3. To copy and apply migrations run:

  ```
  rails g spree_travel_hotel:install
  ```
4. Run `rake spree_travel_hotel:load`

Features
------------

- Using the product_types logic introduced by **Spree Travel Core**, defines a new type of product to encapsulate the common properties of hotels.
- Adds a new **Calculator**, to get hotel prices according to the time of the year, haw many persons are on the reservation, etc...
- Adds option types and option values to model hotel rates and variants.
- Adds stars to hotel products details view.

# Why did I create Locus Quarter and why it should help you

I was actively searching for houses, to buy one. 10's of houses on various house search websites like funda.nl.
When we search for a house/property, we also try to find out what are the things near that property, that are important to us. Like: Grocery, Bus stop, School etc.
These preferences, vary from person to person.

Every time, I liked a house, I had to open Google Maps, put in the house address, search for places around me with different criteria, time taken to reach destinations, mode of transport and so on.

Well, I thought, as I know, what to search for, in the houses like price range, location etc and also places/amenities near by, can I not automate this?

Now, when I wake up in the morning, I have an email which
- Filtered list of the houses based on my criteria
- The places/amenities near that house
- Distance and travel time to those places in various modes of transport
- Distance to my office (a place where you go almost everyday)

### Get your Google API Key

- Note: Google API has now imposed limits on free usage for the developer community, check your quota limits and use it cautiously.

### Configuring GMail for Email (Optional)
Note: Email is optional (default off). I have done this since I found the setup of gmail, tricky for beginners
- [Enable your GMail API from your account](https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/quickstart/python) - Save the credentials.json/client_secret.json (filename as defined in your configuration file)
- gmail-python-quickstart.json - Generate this and save it as filename as defined in your configuration file. This file contains access token and refresh token

### Baseline configuration before execution
  - Use Python 3.7
  - Install dependencies (in an virtual env, if you please to and use python 3.7)

  - Update the config-locus-quarter.ini with the API Key

### Motivation

Roostr is a SaaS application that gives short-term rental property managers the ability to manage properties more easily. Our software makes it easy for a manager to view properties and their availabilities, bookings, maintenance issues, and keep track of all to do items before, during and after a guest’s stay

With a simplistic UI design, Rental POS combines the standard SaaS software that exists currently for managing reservations with the ability to easily coordinate employees who work on property, in one place, without having to utilize an extremely robust software. Rental POS is more extensive than most existing vacation rental solutions but lower cost than enterprise level solutions. Our software is ideal for rental property managers of 1-50 properties.

- Billing through Stripe in three-tier system - 1 property (free), 2-10 properties, and >10 properties
- Dashboard that shows all relevant at-a-glance information that an owner needs to see

# Zig Zag Toe

## General
### What it is
This is a sample game based on the 'Endless runner' principle.  
It is inspired by the legenday 'Zig Zag' game which can be found here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ketchapp.zigzaggame&hl=en 
### Functionalities
The basic functionalities are:
* Changing the player's direction by tapping on the screen
* Jumping by swiping up
### Goal
Since the game is based on the endless runner principle, there is no end goal besides maximizing the score in each try.  
The player should stay alive for as long as he can, jumping arbitray placed obstacles (holes).  
The score is increased by one for each tap (a change in direction), or by +3 from a green power-up (described below) 
### Power ups
Along the path, the player can pick up 3 types of power-ups:
* Green power-up: Awards player +3 points
* Purple power-up: Speeds up player for 20% of current speed for 7 seconds
* Yellow power-up: Slows down player for 20% of current speed for 7 seconds
### What's different from the original?
1. **Jumping**: For starters, we've included holes in the pathway, which itself required a jumping feature to be introduced as well. This required altering the physics engine in the game, as well as handling the specific input events from the player.
2. **Additional powerups**: In order to make the game even harder and more unpredictable, we've added powerups that speed up and slow down the player.

## Solution
In the creating of the solution, we've used a lot of the functionalities provided by the engines of **Unity**, alongside scripting.  
For this purpose, a few classes were developed:
### PlayerScript.cs
This script is attached to the player.  
It has many different properties, such as: Speed, Speed State, Direction and so on.  
It mainly handles the inputs so it can change direction, as well as triggers from Pick Up colliders.
### TileManager.cs
This script is attached to an empty GameObject that exists within the game.  
The manager is built upon the Singleton Design Pattern, in order to ensure that one and only one manager per game exists.  
Its main properties are the 2 Stacks of tiles (for each type of tile accordingly: left tiles and top tiles).  
The goal of this script is to recycle the tiles that fall down after the player passes them, in order not to use too much CPU power for creating new ones all the time, as well as saving RAM.  
### TileScipt.cs (code described below)
This script is attached to each tile in the game.  
It's point is initiate fall down sequence once the player passes it.  
### ParticleScript.cs
This script is attached to a particle system.  
It's point is to initate the particle system in order to create an illusion of an explotion once the player collects a power up.

## Script Description (TileScript.cs)
As previously mentioned, each tile in the game has this script atteched to it. 
The script has a single property:
```cs
    public static int fallDelay = 1;
```
Also, each tile has a **Box Collider** component, with the 'Is Trigger' property set to True.  
This leads to the explanation of the first method within the script:
```cs
    void OnTriggerExit(Collider other)
    {
        if (other.tag == "Player")
        {
            TileManager tileManager = TileManager.getInstance();
            tileManager.SpawnTile();
            StartCoroutine(FallDown());
        }
    }
```
This method is called by the engine whenever the other collider i.e. the player exits the box collider of the tile previously mentioned.  
What this methods does is, once the player leaves a tile, an instance of the TileManager is obtained (through the Singleton Pattern) and a new tile is spawned at the end of the path.  
Also, a FallDown() coroutine is started, which leads to the explanation of the second method within the script:

What this method does is, it waits for 1 second once the player exits the tile, starts the fall down sequence of the player (by setting the isKinematic property of the player to false).  
Then it waits for 1 more second and recycles the tile by resetting its properties and pushing it to the appropriate stack of the tile manager.
