CSS Grid elements overflow container off the page vertically only
            Asked 2021-Jan-21 at 18:37

My page here is working in every way except one. If the height of the screen or browser window is very small compared to the width, the images do not resize, overflow their containers, and the buttons are pushed down offscreen. When the page is resized horizontally, it works correctly, with the images resizing. I have tried the commonly-suggested grid-template-rows: repeat(5, minmax(0, 1fr)); - but while that does prevent the buttons from being pushed offscreen, the images end up in an overlapping pile in the center of the screen instead.

Hope this will help you. I have made the width and height of main containers #logo, #deptLogo and #enter dynamic. Also, I have made font-size and padding for buttons dynamic.

Password Protected Pages Don't Accept A Valid Password After Changing The Password
            Asked 2020-Jun-14 at 00:05

I have a password protected page which I recently was asked by my client to change the password. The password protection is done from the WordPress dashboard by using the Status and visibility option from Page-> PageName -> Edit option and selecting Visibility: Password Protected and editing the password. The previous password had worked fine for many months but once I changed the password, the new password was not accepted. I keep getting the prompt for the password no matter how many times I enter the correct password.

            Cache busting or a clue?

Interestingly if I add a cache busting querystring like ?a=0 to the end of the protected page's URL, I am let in! What's up with that? Does the page/WordPress know that I previously entered the correct password?

With WordPress, does the user need to enter the password each time they visit the password protected page or only the first?

            RESOLVED!

            See that Sucuri plugin?

The DNS for my site points to a Sucuri server which does caching.

I logged into the Sucuri site and added an exclusion for the WordPress password protected page to the caching setup using the UI. Now the new password works and the page behaves as expected. No cache busting required.

The login page posts to a PHP file which hashes the entered password, stores it in a cookie and sets its expiration date to 10 days in the future so you can visit the password protected page for 10 days until you will be prompted for the password again. This is assuming that you are accessing the page from the same device and browser.

So, I made a basic onclick toggle page. I wrote code that works, but when I try to refactor it, it does not work. Can someone point out why and how to fix it?

I tried the refactored JS for just one image--why try it for all images when the first one won't work.

I will attach the HTML, the working JS and refactored JS. I wont include ALL the JS from the file that works. I will provide the code that toggles the first image (that I reused to toggle the next five images).

This happens because one of the parameters of the function dogClicker() and a global variable have the same name - image_tracker. Better make your function's parameter variables unique or alter the global variable directly without passing it to the function at all.

How to achieve dynamic binding in WPF/MVVC C#
            Asked 2017-Nov-02 at 16:53

I am rather new to MVVC/wpf, having mostly worked with winforms.

What I want to accomplish is dynamic databinding without using code behind in WPF. The user interface consists of a devexpress grid and a couple of buttons. Each button press loads an object list and presents the objects in the grid. The lists contain different object types depending on the button pressed. For this example I have two classes to present: FatCat and FatDog.

            In winforms this works:

In other words, what should SomeDynamicList be in the code above?

SomeDynamicList should be an ObservableCollection property to which you can add any objects of type T that you want to display in the GridControl.

Set the DataContext of the GridControl, or any of its parent elements, to an instance of a class where this property is defined:
