I was facing the same issue while running docker containers with flask.

I downgraded Flask to 1.1.4 and markupsafe to 2.0.1 which solved my issue.

TL;DR:
When analysing the bytecode for the two comparisons, it reveals the 'time' and 'time' strings are assigned to the same object. Therefore, an up-front identity check (at C-level) is the reason for the increased comparison speed.

The reason for the same object assignment is that, as an implementation detail, CPython interns strings which contain only 'name characters' (i.e. alpha and underscore characters). This enables the object's identity check.

The entire Internet has been moving away from unauthenticated, unencrypted protocols for a decade, it's not like this is a huge surprise.

Personally, I consider it less an "issue" and more "detecting unmaintained dependencies".

Plus, this is still only the brownout period, so the protocol will only be disabled for a short period of time, allowing developers to discover the problem.

The permanent shutdown is not until March 15th.

As in actions/checkout issue 14, you can add as a first step:

The boolean conversion operator for std::basic_istream is explicit. This means that instances of the type will not implicitly become a bool but can be converted to one explicitly, for instance by typing bool(infile).

Explicit boolean conversion operators are considered for conditional statements, i.e. the expression parts of if, while etc. More info about contextual conversions here.

However, a return statement will not consider the explicit conversion operators or constructors. So you have to explicitly convert that to a boolean for a return.

I'm not sure what you're using to code, but in order to set it in Android Studio, open the manifest of your project and under the "activity" section, put android:exported="true"(or false if that is what you prefer). I have attached an example.

I've been having the same problem (I'm on macOS Monterey), each time I try to take a screenshot the emulator crashes.

Sadly I haven't found a direct solution to this problem, that is a solution fixing the issue in the simulator. But I have learned that it is possible to take screenshots of the app from inside Android Studio, using Logcat.

Essentially, when you're running your app, if you go to the Logcat tab, there is a screenshot option which does seem to work without crashing. I've added a link to developer.android.com which explains how to do it.

Even thought this doesn't exactly fix the problem I hope it helps!

I am happy to report that after a recent update for the emulator released by the developers, the issue no longer exists for me! The screenshot button has now started working again.

So if someone has the issue, I believe it can now be fixed by just updating your emulator to the latest version available.

Since nested classes were first introduced to Java, with the exception of static final fields initialized by constant expressions, nested class declarations that are inner have been prohibited from declaring static members. This restriction applies to non-static member classes, local classes, and anonymous classes.

JEP 384: Records (Second Preview) added support for local interfaces, enum classes, and record classes, all of which are static definitions. This was a well-received enhancement, permitting coding styles that reduce the scope of certain declarations to local contexts.

While JEP 384 allowed for static local classes and interfaces, it did not relax the restriction on static member classes and interfaces of inner classes. An inner class could declare a static interface inside one of its method bodies, but not as a class member.

As a natural next step, JEP 395 further relaxes nesting restrictions, and permits static classes, methods, fields, etc., to be declared within inner classes.
