kandi X-RAY | ESP_Thing Summary

ESP_Thing is a C++ library typically used in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. ESP_Thing has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities, it has a Permissive License and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.

It is meant for makers of IoT things. It is a basline implementation (C++) targeting the ESP8266 chip (Arduino Espressif8266 Framework). The implementation out of the box supports basic sensors and actuators (DHT-22 Himidity & Temperature sensors, LEDs, RGB LED strips, relays/switches), with ability to extend. Communcation with the device ESP_Thing device is established using the MQTT protocol over WiFi. It can be easily connected with Smart Home platform openHAB using the MQTT addon. Since MQTT is platform agnostic it could work with other smart home platforms (HomeKit).
