Earlier code changes could be tracked in [AppleALC] project. Writing and supporting code is fun but it takes time. Please provide most descriptive bugreports or pull requests.

I would just use a simple = on NumPy arrays, to be casted as int for the vector and numpy.mean() for the mean of the vector:
