            QUESTION

            Flutter Pin Input Field
            Asked 2019-Mar-10 at 05:06

I am trying to create this pin input using flutter. I found a few examples like this one online but run into problems when it comes to scaling the input to fill the width of the container or performing validation - the user should only be allowed to enter numbers.

Is there a better way to go about this than the examples provided?

Rather than trying to reinvent the wheel, you can use a mature PIN plugin like pin_code_text_field and pin_view. Some of them even provide great functionalities like SMS Listening if you intend to use them in the future in Verification. You also find a wide array of ready-made widgets that will make your development life much easier in the official Dart packages website.

Although flutter-pi is only tested on a Rasberry Pi 4 2GB, it should work fine on other linux platforms, with the following conditions:. This means flutter-pi won't work on a Pi Zero or Pi 1. A Pi 3 works fine, even the 512MB A+ model, and a Pi 2 should work fine too. If you encounter issues running flutter-pi on any of the supported platforms listed above, please report them to me and I'll fix them.
