OnClick in react is an Event Handler function that is used when an event is likely to occur, or we can say to act by calling a respective function.

OnClick can be used for many purposes, including changing the style of the page or creating a pop-up window. If you add onClick to a particular element in your code by clicking on that element in the webpage, the function associated with on-click will be called and act. We can add the onClick function in the tag itself or in a separate JavaScript file. For adding the background color in react, we can use onClick. For this purpose, we will first create a button saying “Add Background.” We can add the onClick handler in the button tag and call the function to add the background color. This way, by clicking on the “Add Background” button, a background color will be added to our page.

Here is an example of how to change the background color dynamically On Click in React;

I hope you found this useful. I have added the link to dependent libraries, version information in the following sections.

I found this code snippet by searching for 'how to change background onclick in React' in kandi. You can try any such use case!

Environment Tested

I tested this solution in the following versions. Be mindful of changes when working with other versions.

  1. The solution is created in Visual Studio Code 1.73.1.
  2. The solution is tested on node v18.12.1 and npm v8.19.2.
  3. React version-18.2.0.

Using this solution, we are able to change background color onClick in React with simple steps. This process also facilities an easy way to use, hassle-free method to create a hands-on working version of code which would help us to change background color onClick in React.
