kandi X-RAY | TaskManagerWinForms Summary
TaskManagerWinForms is a C# library. TaskManagerWinForms has no bugs, it has no vulnerabilities and it has low support. You can download it from GitHub.
This is a C# implementation of a Process Manager like Windows Task Manager (Ctrl + Alt + Delete). It uses a BackgroundWorker (Threadpool background threads) to update the values obtained using PerformanceCounters. Initialization is the slowest start because it takes awhile to initialize 200+ PerformanceCounters. There are speedups possible by programmatically setting a Windows registry value. The debug information is shown in a Console window. The process information is printed to the ListBox using an overwritten ToString() Method for the ProcView object. The ProcView object separates the view from the underlying ProcInfo datastructure so that sorting does not affect other operations that are done on the ProcInfo objects. Exceptions are caught and printed to the console without causing crashes. Improvements: Non-Specific exceptions are caught as a normal part of operation instead of handling specific exceptions explicitly. Next features: Minimize shared state and use locks Prevent application from going unresponsive when minimized Change priority of backgroundworker threads Ability to kill a task.
