            RegisterGenericDecorator ignores condition

            Conditions:

            • Autofac: 4.9.1
            • .NET Framework: 4.7.2

I have a generic command handler:

Autofac 4.9.1 is a pretty old version now (3+ yrs). I know that some behaviour around decorator conditions was fixed in v6.0.0; see this issue where upgrading fixed someone's problem that sounds similar to yours.

I'd suggest upgrading to the latest version; if upgrading doesn't fix it, put together a minimal repro and raise an issue on our github repo.

Adding a dependency service while getting rid of Autofac - Open Source project
            Asked 2021-Mar-23 at 15:19

I am trying to help out an Open Source project (Planet Xamarin) by migrating their current website to use .Net Core.

I got super far, and finished UI for all the pages, as you can see in the GIF here.

However, since I haven't implemented Autofac, it's not getting the Feeds (NewCombinedFeedSource.cs) and Authors (IAmACommunityMember.cs) data that they were using to populate everything through Autofac before as you can see here:

I was able to use reflection as @Nkosi mentioned to get the list of authors without using Autofac. And I realized that I didn't even need one of those

Solution was not to use SwaggerConfig.Register() separately instead do this configuration inside WebApiConfig.

I suspect its the assembly list is incomplete in some way, you can confirm this by altering the dynamic assembly generation function to the following:
