Fix | A CSS normalization/reset reference
kandi X-RAY | Fix Summary
kandi X-RAY | Fix Summary
A quick reference for patching up unruly browser CSS defaults. Part normalization, part reset. Offending rules are surgically targeted. For example, the padding-left of ul is reset using padding-left: 0 and not the typical padding: 0. You could include the whole thing in your project, but these days global CSS is a no no. Only use the relevent bits when working on components. Check out the blog post that spawned this project.

QUESTION
I am getting this create React app error again and again even after doing the uninstall part.
npm uninstall -g create-react-app
up to date, audited 1 package in 570ms
found 0 vulnerabilities
npx create-react-app test-app
...Need to install the following packages: create-react-app Ok to proceed? (y) y
You are running
create-react-app
4.0.3, which is behind the latest release (5.0.0).We no longer support global installation of Create React App.
Please remove any global installs with one of the following commands:
- npm uninstall -g create-react-app
- yarn global remove create-react-app
The latest instructions for creating a new app can be found here: https://create-react-app.dev/docs/getting-started/
ANSWER
Answered 2022-Jan-01 at 22:34You will have to clear the npx cache to make it work.
You can locate the location of the folder where create-react-app is installed using npm ls -g create-react-app
.
Also, to clear the cache, refer to this answer in How can I clear the central cache for `npx`?
QUESTION
I am trying to get a Flask and Docker application to work but when I try and run it using my docker-compose up
command in my Visual Studio terminal, it gives me an ImportError called ImportError: cannot import name 'json' from itsdangerous
. I have tried to look for possible solutions to this problem but as of right now there are not many on here or anywhere else. The only two solutions I could find are to change the current installation of MarkupSafe and itsdangerous to a higher version: https://serverfault.com/questions/1094062/from-itsdangerous-import-json-as-json-importerror-cannot-import-name-json-fr and another one on GitHub that tells me to essentially change the MarkUpSafe and itsdangerous installation again https://github.com/aws/aws-sam-cli/issues/3661, I have also tried to make a virtual environment named veganetworkscriptenv
to install the packages but that has also failed as well. I am currently using Flask 2.0.0 and Docker 5.0.0 and the error occurs on line eight in vegamain.py.
Here is the full ImportError that I get when I try and run the program:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Feb-20 at 12:31I was facing the same issue while running docker containers with flask.
I downgraded Flask
to 1.1.4
and markupsafe
to 2.0.1
which solved my issue.
Check this for reference.
QUESTION
I have been using github actions for quite sometime but today my deployments started failing. Below is the error from github action logs
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-16 at 07:01First, this error message is indeed expected on Jan. 11th, 2022.
See "Improving Git protocol security on GitHub".
January 11, 2022 Final brownout.
This is the full brownout period where we’ll temporarily stop accepting the deprecated key and signature types, ciphers, and MACs, and the unencrypted Git protocol.
This will help clients discover any lingering use of older keys or old URLs.
Second, check your package.json
dependencies for any git://
URL, as in this example, fixed in this PR.
As noted by Jörg W Mittag:
For GitHub Actions:There was a 4-month warning.
The entire Internet has been moving away from unauthenticated, unencrypted protocols for a decade, it's not like this is a huge surprise.Personally, I consider it less an "issue" and more "detecting unmaintained dependencies".
Plus, this is still only the brownout period, so the protocol will only be disabled for a short period of time, allowing developers to discover the problem.
The permanent shutdown is not until March 15th.
As in actions/checkout issue 14, you can add as a first step:
QUESTION
I have newly installed
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jul-28 at 07:22You are running the project via Java 1.8 and add the --add-opens
option to the runner. However Java 1.8 does not support it.
So, the first option is to use Java 11 to run the project, as Java 11 can recognize this VM option.
Another solution is to find a place where --add-opens
is added and remove it.
Check Run configuration in IntelliJ IDEA (VM options field) and Maven/Gradle configuration files for argLine
(Maven) and jvmArgs

QUESTION
I am currently setting up a boilerplate with React, Typescript, styled components, webpack etc. and I am getting an error when trying to run eslint:
Error: Must use import to load ES Module
Here is a more verbose version of the error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-15 at 16:08I think the problem is that you are trying to use the deprecated babel-eslint parser, last updated a year ago, which looks like it doesn't support ES6 modules. Updating to the latest parser seems to work, at least for simple linting.
So, do this:
- In package.json, update the line
"babel-eslint": "^10.0.2",
to"@babel/eslint-parser": "^7.5.4",
. This works with the code above but it may be better to use the latest version, which at the time of writing is 7.16.3. - Run
npm i
from a terminal/command prompt in the folder - In .eslintrc, update the parser line
"parser": "babel-eslint",
to"parser": "@babel/eslint-parser",
- In .eslintrc, add
"requireConfigFile": false,
to the parserOptions section (underneath"ecmaVersion": 8,
) (I needed this or babel was looking for config files I don't have) - Run the command to lint a file
Then, for me with just your two configuration files, the error goes away and I get appropriate linting errors.
QUESTION
how I can fix it? I've tried to create "soft link" like sudo ln /snap /var/lib/snapd/snap
and also sudo ln /var/lib/snapd/snap /snap
--> but it doesn't work. I just want to install VSCode in Manjaro
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jul-29 at 13:43I use Manjaro too and have the same problem today, it happens after update some pkgs. And snapd can't install vscode for now.
And if you have the same problem as my, you should uninstall the vscode first and delete the .desktop file located on /home/your_username/.local/share/applications
To install I downloaded the .deb version on Visual Studio Code website, and converted it to something pacman could install.
Now a little tutorial on how to do that
How to install .deb on manjaro (arch linux)The package that convert .deb is debtap, but it is only available on AUR. So first u'll need to install pacaur

QUESTION
I have an array of positive integers. For example:
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Feb-27 at 22:44This problem has a fun O(n) solution.
If you draw a graph of cumulative sum vs index, then:
The average value in the subarray between any two indexes is the slope of the line between those points on the graph.
The first highest-average-prefix will end at the point that makes the highest angle from 0. The next highest-average-prefix must then have a smaller average, and it will end at the point that makes the highest angle from the first ending. Continuing to the end of the array, we find that...
These segments of highest average are exactly the segments in the upper convex hull of the cumulative sum graph.
Find these segments using the monotone chain algorithm. Since the points are already sorted, it takes O(n) time.
QUESTION
Since updating to Visual Studio 2019 version 16.11.0 (today), compilation of Razor MVC views is failing on multiple cshtml
files in multiple projects:
error CS1576: The line number specified for #line directive is missing or invalid
I've tried to set fixed version of .NET Core SDK in global.json
file, which was placed in a root folder of MVC Web project, as described here, but that did not help as well.
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Aug-15 at 13:53I'm having the same problem. I thought it was because I had recently updated .Net 6
to Prerelease 7
but looks like there is a serious bug somewhere in the 16.11
release.
