            QUESTION

Add multiple cursors to the start of line in VSCode (Windows)?
            Asked 2019-Jul-12 at 04:36

I want to add multiple cursors at the start of the line in VSCode, just like I can do at the end of the line with Ctrl + Shift + L or Shift + Alt + I.

I can't find a way to move all multiple cursors at the start of the line either with Ctrl + Home as the contents are different on each line.

            Here are the contents -

I found the answer here. Copy pasting the linked answer below.

            On Windows:

            1. Select the lines.

            2. Alt-Shift-I (will add multiple cursors)

            3. Shift-Home (will go at the beginning of each line and be selected)

            On Mac :

            1. Select the lines.

            2. alt-shift-I (will add multiple cursors)

            3. cmd-shift-← (will go at the beginning of each line and be selected)

            Install synthwave-vscode

To begin with, install the base theme from the VS Marketplace. This is the way Synthwave '84 is intended to be used day-to-day. If you want to enable the gratuitous 80s glow, it needs a little extra work to get it going.

            Support

Because enabling the glow modifies core files, VS code will interpret this as the core being 'corrupted' and you may see an error message on restarting your editor. You can safely dismiss this message, or remove it entirely with the Fix VSCode Checksums extension. Upon installation of 'Fix VSCode Checksums', open the command palette and execute Fix Checksums: Apply. You will need to completely restart VSCode after execution, reopening without fully exiting might not be enough.
