            QUESTION

Execute script inside azure VM programmatically
            Asked 2019-Nov-16 at 04:11

How can I use the Python SDK and execute a script stored in Blob inside a VM?

Is it possible to do it at the time of creation?

I've looked at this, and I'm not able to make it work. This is my existing template. Where am I going wrong?

You should create VM firstly, then using Azure Custom Script Extension to execute scripts inside VM.

Please read these files to find out output from your script. You can find the logs for the extension at /var/log/azure/custom-script/handler.log. Please open an issue on this GitHub repository if you encounter problems that you could not debug with these log files.
