Getting TypeError: argument of type 'CRS' is not iterable with OSMnx Package

This question appears to have been answered before, but none of the answers helped in my case. First I should say that I've followed the OSMnx Installation steps exactly. Then tried to run the following code in a Jupyter Notebook:

            Answered 2021-May-13 at 04:04

You have installed an extremely old version of OSMnx. Your conda list output shows you have version 0.7.3 installed, and that was released 3 or 4 years ago. It's so old that it's incompatible with the modern features of GeoPandas and pyproj, including the modern CRS object that's causing your error. I'm not clear how you did it! My best guess is you installed using one of the old tags on this page, which do point to version 0.7.3.

This should be fixed by removing the old environment and then following the installation instructions here, like:

Overflow of div is expanding in y-direction, but need it in the x-direction with scroll
            Asked 2021-Feb-26 at 21:27

Ok, so I'm making a project gallery with the template of an Image Gallery from W3Schools. I am making this from mobile-first, so sizes are best-matched for iPhone 5-ish.

So I have made it, but the thumbnail container has the overflow expanding in the y-direction but I would like this container to expand into the x-direction and have it scrollable.

Here is a jsfiddle: https://jsfiddle.net/6chv3kry/2/. Note this is quite incomplete, but the thumbnail should be visible with alt tags at the bottom of the page.

I have tried changing to a flex display for the section-projects-thumbnail-row, but this does not work. Is it maybe due to the sizing, if so how can I change it so that it works...thank you!

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Feb-26 at 21:27

            You have 2 options.

You have your 5 section-projects-thumbnail-col floating left with a width of 40% and the container with a width of 100% of the window. There's obviously no room enough.

If you want to make it work that way you have to set your container: section-projects-thumbnail-row 200% width (40% * 5) and all your col will behave a you want asuming you use box-sizing: border-box; so paddings and margins do not take more room than 40%.

Second option could be not using float, set your col to display:inline-blockand add to the container white-space: nowrap;. This would be a better option if the content is going to be dinamic so it will work with 5, 6 or as many elements you want.

            Good luck with your project.

Pipfile is redundant for Heroku. But it is ok to use it for development.

Most probably that you are erasing it from dependencies using pipenv. Try to add to Pipfile and then do pip freeze

The rtree package did not come packaged with wheels before version 0.9.6 (see PR#163) and the BSB instead published it's own version of the wheels under the name rtree-linux as it only contained Linux wheels and later Windows wheels. Mac wheels had never been available up until PR#163 a month ago or so.

You can resolve this issue by either cloning the repository and adapting setup.py to install rtree>=0.9.7 or by asking the maintainer (disclaimer: me) to do so; I have done so and you should be able to install the BSB with version 3.6.1 (pip install bsb) as of now on Mac without special efforts and it will use the rtree==0.9.7 Mac wheels.
