            Giving size to Frame
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 23:40

Is it possible to specify size of a frame in a tkinter window.

What i am trying to do is I have two Frames inside a MAIN frame and I need them to take the available space in 7:3 Ratio.

I failed to find solution to my problem.

            My expected result is this.

            1. Which layout manager will provide me this feature
            2. Will it restrict any other feature
            3. Will it resize itself if window is resized

One way would be to use the place with relx, rely, relheight and relwidth.

Multiple requests causing program to crash (using BeautifulSoup)

I am writing a program in python to have a user input multiple websites then request and scrape those websites for their titles and output it. However, when the program surpasses 8 websites the program crashes every time. I am not sure if it is a memory problem, but I have been looking all over and can't find any one who has had the same problem. The code is below (I added 9 lists so all you have to do is copy and paste the code to see the issue).

To avoid the page from crashing, add the user-agent header to the headers= parameter in requests.get(), otherwise, the page thinks that your a bot and will block you.

How to pass additional values to MVC client from Identity Server 4 after authenticating user
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 19:18

How can we pass additional data to Client application from Identity Server 4 in response after successful authentication?

We are using Identity Server 4 as an Auth server for our application to have user authentication and SSO feature. User information is stored and is getting authenticated by an external service. IDS calls the external service for user authentication. On successful authentication, the service returns the response back to IDS with 2 parameters:

            1. Authorization code
            2. Additional information (a collection of attributes) for the user.

IDS further generates Id token and returns response back to MVC client with standard user claims. I want to pass the additional user information(attributes) to client application to display it on page. We tried adding the attributes as claims collection through context.IssuedClaims option but still I am not getting those attributes added and accessible to User.Claims collection in MVC client app.

Can anyone suggest an alternative way by which we can pass those custom attributes to client app. either through claims or any other mode (httpcontext.Items collection etc)

Only some user claims provided by the IDS will be passed into the User.claims collection. You need to explicitly map those additional claims in the client application, using code like:

Find proportion of times each character(A,B,C,D) occurs in each column of a list which has 3 datasets
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 19:00

I have a list (dput() below) that has 4 datasets.I also have a variable called 'u' with 4 characters. I have made a video here which explains what I want and a spreadsheet is here.

The spreadsheet is not exactly how my data looks like but i am using it just as an example. My original list has 4 datasets but the spreadsheet has 3 datasets.

Essentially i have some characters(A,B,C,D) and i want to find the proportions of times each character occurs in each column of 3 groups of datasets.(Check video, its hard to explain by typing it out)

We can loop over the list 'l' with lapply, then get the table for each of the columns by looping over the columns with sapply after converting the column to factor with levels specified as 'u', get the proportions, transpose, convert to data.frame (as.data.frame), split by row (asplit - MARGIN = 1), then use transpose from purrr to change the structure so that each column from all the list elements will be blocked as a single unit, bind them with bind_rows

Shorthand object initializer syntax for matching property name
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 18:36

Sometimes I find myself needing to initialize an object with a property that matches the property of another object. When the property name is the same, I want to be able to use shorthand syntax.

(For the purposes of the examples in this question, I'll just keep the additional properties to a tag: 1 property, and I'll reuse message in subsequent examples as the input/source of the information. I also indicate an extra unwanted property of message because I'm cherry-picking properties and do not intend to just use Object.assign to assign all the properties of message to the result.)

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 16:26

The best I have so far is { person: message.person, tag: 1 }.

Is there shorthand initializer syntax to achieve this?

No, this is still they way to go.

hoping that a property name would magically be inferred from person

Please enable the quarkus-smallrye-jwt TRACE logging to see why the tokens are rejected. And indeed, as you have also found out, https protocol needs to be enabled in the native image, which can be done, as you have shown :-), by adding --enable-url-protocols=https to the native profile's properties in pom.xml.

This PR will ensure adding it manually won't be required.

Data Imputation with Mean in Python
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 13:43

I'm working with some data where I have hourly observations for patients. In some cases, some of the features for a specific patient are completely empty. I'm trying to find a way to impute the data by using constant average that's based off a population subset of 50 other patients who have the same gender and a similar age. I've given a simplified look at the data below:

            HR O2Sat Temp Platelets Age Gender PatientID 80 98 36.5 NaN 52 1 A0 82 96 37.0 NaN 52 1 A0 82 100 36.3 160 53 1 A1 90 93 36.6 165 53 1 A1 83 95 35.9 140 23 0 A2 79 98 36.2 155 23 0 A2 88 92 36.6 163 60 0 A3 90 91 36.3 165 60 0 A3 81 95 37.1 NaN 20 0 A4 81 92 36.9 NaN 20 0 A4

I've reordered the dataframe by age and have this code so far

            data = data.sort_values(['Age']).groupby(['PatientID','Gender']).apply(lambda x: x.fillna(x.mean()))

But I know that that's going to use all of the available data to find the mean but I'm not sure how to limit it to 50 patients of a similar age.

Git rebase commit replays vs merge commits: a concrete example
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 13:22

I have a question about how rebasing works in git, in part because whenever I ask other devs questions about it I get vague, abstract, high level "architect-y speak" that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

It sounds as if rebasing "replays" commits, one after another (so sequentially) from the source branch over the changes in my working branch, is this the case? So if I have a feature branch, say, feature/xyz-123 that was cut from develop originally, and then I rebase from origin/develop, then it replays all the commits made to develop since I branched off of it. Furthermore, it does so, one develop commit at a time, until all the changes have been "replayed" into my feature branch, yes?

If anything I have said above is incorrect or misled, please begin by correcting me! But assuming I'm more or less correct, I'm not seeing how this is any different than merging in changes from develop by doing a git merge develop. Don't both methods result with all the latest changes from develop making their way into feature/xyz-123?

I'm sure this is not the case but I'm just not seeing the forest through the trees here. If someone could give a concrete example (with perhaps some mock commits and git command line invocations) I might be able to understand the difference in how rebase works versus a merge. Thanks in advance!

" It sounds as if rebasing "replays" commits, one after another (so sequentially) from the source branch over the changes in my working branch, is this the case? "

            Yes.

" Furthermore, it does so, one develop commit at a time, until all the changes have been "replayed" into my feature branch, yes? "

No, it's the contrary. If you rebase your branch on origin/develop, all your branch's commits are to be replayed on top of origin/develop, not the other way around.

Finally, the difference between merge and rebase scenarios has been described in details everywhere, including on this site, but very broadly the merge workflow will add a merge commit to history. For that last part, take a look here for a start.
