Dear Stackoverflow community, I am writing this question because I have a problem when plotting an analysis I have performed on a dataset in archaeology. It turns out that I have performed a discriminant analysis by canonical functions, following an example from archaeology professor David L. Carlson, and at the moment of viewing the biplot graph of his data set the graph is shown without problems, where the number of cases associated to the centroids is observed. What happens is that when I plot my data set, the biplot graph I get does not show the number of cases associated with the centroids, I have tried several times but I can not, and I do not know if I have a problem with my data set.

I'm trying to annotate a few figures I created in python. So, I'm generating an image containing the specified text (using PIL ImageDraw) and concatenating it with the image. Now, I want to include a math notation into the text. Is there a way to write text in latex math when creating the image of text? This answer suggests a work-around by using unicode text, but I would prefer writing the text in latex directly.

I'm trying to make a website where I have a footer at the bottom of the page. I found another solution on how to place the footer at the bottom of the page online which worked amazing with no problems.

But when I tried making the website responsive I recognized that for some reason the footer took up a lot of space which created a lot of blank space between the main content and the footer. I've tried to remove the blank space, but that just results in a bunch of other problems.

Preferably I would want to remove the blank space and have the footer right under the main content of the page. Any help or advice would be appreciated!

I am trying to write some code, that displays data from a database in Laravel. But I have two table values linked to eachother with a foreign key, and when I try to show that on my page, it just shows the id and not the actual name. I saw in another stackoverflow question that you should define the table data values in ur Model, but that doesn't work or I did it wrong. Can someone be so kind to help me fix this please? :)

This image has 13 columns, I don't want that. I want to keep 5 columns but my major concern is the size of the td in my HTML files. It is too small in width and that is why, the text is also very stacked up in each td. But if you look at the other image, text is much more visible and boxes are much more bigger width wise. Moreover, it doesn't suffer from height problems either (the height of the box is in such a way that it covers the whole of the PDF Page and all the tds don't look like stretched down)

I have tried to play around the height and width of my td in the HTML File, but unfortunately, nothing really seemed to work for me.

I'm trying to match roman numerals with a "." at the end and then a space and a capital letter after the point. For example:

I. And here is a line.

II. And here is another line.

X. Here is again another line.

So, the regex should match the "I. A", "II. A" and "X. H".

I did this "^(XC|XL|L?X{0,3})(IX|IV|V?I{0,3}){1,4}\.\s[A-Z]" But the problem is that this RegEx is also matching with ". A" and i don't want it.

In resume it should have at least one roman numeral, followed by a "." and then a space and a capital letter.

I am building a simple Laravel routing to display an array when someone goes to http://127.0.0.1:8000/planets

But I need to make a filter to check the array on what request has been send on the URL. For example: http://127.0.0.1:8000/planets?planet=mars

I need to make sure that if a GET parameter is present, you filter the array based on whether the planet name is in it. This way we can filter the results of the page a little faster.

This is my first stack overflow question, so if I am presenting something wrong, please let me know. I am pretty new to computer programming, so I just have a small webpage where I am just implementing things that I am learning.

I made a little quiz with random trivia multiple choice questions you can take if you press a button. I am using window prompts to ask the questions and get the answers, and I have all of the questions and answers stored as objects with question/prompt and answer pairs. All of those objects are stored in an array in a variable called shortQuizPrompts. I already have the quiz working and everything, aka., It tells you after every question if you got the answer to that question right or wrong, and it gives you a grade afterwards... I also have it set up so that if you enter an answer that is not "a", "b", "c", or "d", it lets you know that it isnt a valid answer. Those sorts of things.

As of right now, you can choose how many questions long you want the quiz to be out of the 24 total questions I have so far. It just asks the questions in the order that they are stored in the array. For example, you will never be asked the last question in the array if you do not choose for the quiz to be the full 24 questions long. However, I want to make the quiz ask the questions in a random order, while also removing those questions from the array as to not ask the same question multiple times.

I have tried increasing the iterator while looping through the array to a random number from 0 to the length of however many questions they chose. Then checking to see if the iterator was larger than the length of the number of questions they chose, it would decrease the iterator until it found a question that is still in the array that it could ask...

If anyone knows how to go about doing that, it would be great. Sorry for the long question btw. I am pretty new to coding, so this is probably a simple answer, but I digress. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. Thx.
