Hi all we have a Flink application with blue-green deployment which we get using the Flink operator.

Flinkk8soperator for Apache Flink. The operator spins up the following three K8s services after a deployment:

Unfortunately that's not possible OOB to use any kind of regex/wildcards/jsonpath/variables/references inside .backend.serviceName inside Ingres controller. You are able to use regex only in path: Ingress Path Matching

And its not going to be implemented soon: Allow variable references in backend spec is in the hanged stage.

Would be very interesting to hear any possible solution for this. It was previously discussed on stack, however without any progress: https://stackoverflow.com/a/60810435/9929015

const sectionCenter = document.querySelector(".section-center"); is the valid statement since section-center is a class. You're trying to access it as a tag like div.

There is no code for WebSocket server in the GitHub repository. That app(in repository) running with simulator.

So if you want run it with real server, you need to implement yourself and deploy(Any service you can use.)

            Answered 2021-Jan-28 at 04:44
            • 'tickers' is a column of str type, not list type, so they can be converted to list type, by using ast.literal_eval with the converters parameter.
            • The values in the lists in the 'tickers' column can be removed from the lists, by using the .explode method.
            • In order to properly .groupby the date, the 'time' column must be converted to a datetime dtype.

            User Subscription activity 1/0 table
            Asked 2020-Nov-05 at 09:01

I am trying to write a query that defines and then describes 'subscription activity' from a user transaction table. Let's say the transaction table we're working from has customer_id, created_at (transaction date), merchant_name, transaction_amount.

The final output table should have customer_Id as the first column, activity_month as the second column, merchant_name_x as the third column and _merchant_name_y as the 4th column (can have infinite columns from then on for various merchants). And here's the tricky part: the table should be populated with '1' if that cell represents a string of at least 3 consecutive months of that user transacting at least once with that merchant, and '0' otherwise.

Here is basic code that got me what would look like the output table with '1' for activity and '0' for no activity. It needs to be amended so that '1' appears only if its part of an unbroken string of >= 3 months of consecutive activity for the given merchant and '0' otherwise.

I think if I understand correctly you will need to use a windowed function like below:

UPDATE: updated to reflect sample data. I took the data you provided and added 3 additional records for Customer_ID = 306797979 and Merchant_name = Amazon. What you will see in the results is that the 2018-08 and 09 records are 0 because there are not 3 consecutive months of an amazon subscription at that point. When we hit 2018-10 and 11 they both now have 3 subsequent periods of transactions.

I am assuming you are running this on a local sandbox environment (you are using minio, which is test blob store that we deploy in the sandbox environment). Can you please share your flytekit.config file that you used to register the workflow.

So Flyte automatically stores intermediate data in a bucket (S3 / GCS) based on how you configure it.

The prefix setting is used to automatically upload the data to the configured bucket and prefix https://github.com/lyft/flytesnacks/blob/b980963e48eac4ab7e4a9a3e58b353ad523cee47/cookbook/sandbox.config#L7

Versions prior to v0.7.0 - the shard formatter setting in the config is used- https://github.com/lyft/flytesnacks/blob/b980963e48eac4ab7e4a9a3e58b353ad523cee47/cookbook/sandbox.config#L14-L17

Please also tell us what version of Flyte you are running. Please join the slack channel and I can help you get started. Sorry for all the troubles

Is there a way to run each service in Docker swarm to run with different IAM roles
            Asked 2020-Oct-21 at 19:19

I want to spin up a docker swarm cluster on AWS. We plan to use IAM roles to define the access level of each service inside the docker swarm cluster. Is there a way to achieve this? I did go through below article but it was 4 years ago and I believe there would have been progress in this are since Kubernetes have a provision of specifying role for every namespace. Do we have something like this for docker swarm ?

            ANSWER

            Answered 2020-Oct-21 at 19:19

There is no native way to have Docker Swarm services have an assigned role at this time, AWS does not have access to services on EC2 hosts.

A number of third party solutions exist which will essentially assume a role that exists in AWS and then pass these temporary credentials as environment variables into each Docker container. To do this the EC2 host would need an IAM role that has permissions to assume the role(s) that are required.

Whilst AWS does not support IAM roles on docker swarm they do have 2 container orchestration based products:

            • ECS - A custom Amazon product built to run production-scale Docker containers
            • EKS - A Amazon managed Kubernetes orchestration layer

Both of these products allow a Task IAM role that can provided to the containers that are running in the solution.
