You are writing message.text into the database inside the photo function. However, that function is only triggered for messages containing a photo. When the message contains a photo, message.text is None. Any caption the photo might have will be in message.caption.

Is there a way to do conditional select statements in SQLite?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 19:54

I am trying to create an app in which the user has the option to query the database by entering information into one of two entry boxes. I want to be able to use a single select statement and conditionally query the database based on what box the user enter their information into. I currently am trying to use a CASE clause, but I believe that it is running into an error when I try to include a WHERE clause in the THEN argument. Here is what I am currently working with:

You have a typo (fix "n" to "nn"): ConectionStrings should be ConnectionStrings.

You can remove the old one and create a new one with these commands:

VBA - NULL values in Listview
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 17:10

I've created a simple VBA interface to connect Excel to a MySQL DB. The VBA part acts as a preview of data for the user to choose what item he wants to import to the Excel sheet.

Until now I've work with a very complete set of data, but I got to a Table which (because of the nature of the items) some fields are NULL.

Now every time I try to check the values in the VBA I get the Run-time error 13 Type mismatch in the listview component. At first I though it was a field with DECIMAL typing, but after changing it to a DOUBLE (for testing) the problem persisted, and it was until I notice that if only checks columns with no NULL value, the problem disappears. Off course I can't omit this values.

I tried some .Tostring functions but with no success. And I failed to implement a IF to check for NULL in the obj.

            This is my code:

If you don't want to add a IsNull-function in you SQL (as Nathan_Sav suggested as a comment): There is a IsNull-function in VBA. With that, you can create a simple function that returns for example an empty string (or a 0 or whatever you prefer):

This is not consumed by json_normalize directly (after my tries). Since the number of BUY and SELL are different, and these record do not neccessarily should match each other (located on a same row), suggestions is to split into two dataframes and then concatenate.

Deserializing redis's Value in Rust (FromRedisValue)
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 09:55

I'm implementing a simple task queue using redis in Rust, but am struggling to deserialize the returned values from redis into my custom types.

In total I thought of 3 approches:

            1. Deserializing using serde-redis
            2. Manually implementing the FromRedisValue trait
            3. Serializing to String using serde-json > sending as string > then deserializing from string

The 3rd approach worked but feels artificial. I'd like to figure out either 1 or 2, both of which I'm failing at.

            Approach 1 - serde-redis

I have a simple Task definition:

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 09:55

Redis doesn't define structured serialization formats. It mostly store strings and integers. So you have to choose or define your format for your struct.

A popular one is JSON, as you noticed, but if you just want to (de)serialize simple pairs of (id, description), it's not very readable nor convenient.

In such a case, you can define your own format, for example the id and the description with a dash in between:

I did some test on my side and this is my nodejs server code(as you can see, no config for CORS) :

Splitting and distributing data from two tables into a new one
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 08:24

I have been studying and learning PHP and MySQL and I have started a system that I'm developing for a friend's little school and to help me to improve my learning. I basically have in this case a table with the names of the students (tb_std) and another with the names of the teachers (tb_tch). The work is to distribute these students among the teachers in a new table, which is the way I think it will work better (tb_final).

            1. I basically need each student to have a randomly chosen teacher so that the distribution is numerically even among the teachers.

In this example, I have 7 teachers and 44 students. Using SELECT query I did the operations to find out how many students would be for each teacher (add/division/mod), but how to make this draw to play in this new table I have no idea where to start.
