How to Config Javascript ' script in Django?
            Asked 2021-Jun-16 at 02:47

I built an app using Django 3.2.3., but when I try to settup my javascript code for the HTML, it doesn't work. I have read this post Django Static Files Development and follow the instructions, but it doesn't resolve my issue.

Also I couldn't find TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS, according to this post no TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS in django, from 1.7 Django and later, TEMPLATE_CONTEXT_PROCESSORS is the same as TEMPLATE to config django.core.context_processors.static but when I paste that code, turns in error saying django.core.context_processors.static doesn't exist.

I don't have idea why my javascript' script isn't working.

Run ‘python manage.py collectstatic’ and try again.

The way you handle static wrong, remove the static dirs in your INSTALLED_APPS out of STATIC_DIRS and set a STATIC_ROOT then collectstatic again.

Modifying private pointer of object within same type (but different object) public method
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 20:20

I've been attempting to create a node class which mimics a node on a graph. Currently, storage of the predecessor and successor nodes are stored via a node pointer vector: std::vector previous. The vectors for the predecessor/successor nodes are private variables and are accessible via setters/getters.

Currently, I am dealing with updating the pointer values when adding a new node. My current method to update the predecessor/successor nodes is through this method (the method is the same for successor/previous nodes, just name changes):

You can use sort -V command to consider the proper versioning of files and then invoke copy command on each file one by one or a list of files at a time.

            ls | sort -V

If you're on a GNU system, you can also use ls -v. This won't work in MacOS.

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 12:59

The Kubernetes project is making an effort to move away from wording that can be considered offensive, with one concrete recommendation being renaming master to control-plane. In other words control-plane and master mean essentially the same thing, and the goal is to switch the terminology to use control-plane exclusively going forward. (More info in this answer)

The kubectl command is a command line interface that executes on a client (i.e your computer) and interacts with the cluster through the control-plane. The IP address you are seing through cluster-info is the IP address through which you reach the control-plane

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 12:03

The solution lies in the federated identity pool's settings.

By default the identity pool will provide the IAM role that it's configured with. In other words, one of either the "unauthenticated role" or the "authenticated role" that it's set up with.

But it can be told instead to provide a role specified by the authentication provider. That's what will solve the problem here.

            1. In the AWS console, in Cognito, open the relevant identity pool.
            2. Click "Edit identity pool" (top right)
            3. Expand "Authentication Providers"
            4. Under Authenticated Role Selection, choose "Choose role from token".

That will allow Cognito to specify its own roles, and you will find that the users get the privileges of their group.

Based on the storage class spec, I think the problem is the volumeBindingMode being set as WaitForFirstConsumer which means the PV will remain unbound until there is a Pod to consume it.

You can change it Immediate to allow the PV to be bound immediately without requiring to create a Pod.

You can read about the different volume binding modes in detail in the docs.

How can you copy a blob in a container with public access set to 'Private'?
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 09:46

I've got a requirement to be able to copy a blob from a container in 1 storage account into a container in another storage account. Previously the source container had public access set to 'Container'. I was using the connection string to connect to the account and then get a reference to the blob.

I'm using StartCopyAsync(sourceBlob). This was originally working fine when the container had public access set to container. Now it throws a StorageException of 'The specified resource does not exist'. Is this a permissions thing? I would have expected an error message to say I didn't have permissions. I can see the resource is there in the container.

Assuming it is a permissions thing, is there a way to copy a blob from a container that has public access set to 'private'? The docs suggest it can be done by 'authorised request' but what how do you do that?

            Update

I've tried Gaurav Mantri's suggestion but currently getting an error of "This request is not authorized to perform this operation". Here's my code:

            ANSWER

            Answered 2021-Jun-11 at 23:55

It is indeed a permission issue. For copy blob operation to work, the source blob must be publicly accessible. From this link:

When your container's ACL was public, the source blob was publicly accessible i.e. anybody could directly access the blob by its URL. However once you changed the container's ACL to private, the source blob is no longer publicly accessible.

To solve your problem, what you need to do is create a SAS URL for the source blob with at least Read permission and use that SAS URL in your StartCopyAsync method.
