QUESTION
I am a beginner in iOS development. I was trying to use an api URl: https://www.arbeitnow.com/api/job-board-api in my job search iOS app. But nothing shows on my app. I tested the URL in POSTMAN and it returns json(but HTML in description part?). I wrote the code:

object, you should return that:
QUESTION
I decided today that I'm going to use Strapi as my headless CMS for my portfolio, I've bumped into some issues though, which I just seem to not be able to find a solution to online. Maybe I'm just too clueless to actually find the real issue.
I have set up a schema for my projects that will be stored in Strapi (everything done in the web), but I've had some issues with my custom components, and that is, they are not part of the API responses when I run it through Postman. (Not just empty keys but not included in the response at all). All other fields, that are not components, are filled out as expected.
At first I thought it might have to do with the permissions, but everything is enabled so it can't be that, I also tried looking into the API in the code, but that logging the answer there didn't include the components either.
Here is an image of some of the fields in the schema, but more importantly the components that are not included in the response.
So my question is, do I need to create some sort of a parser or anything in the project to be able to include these fields, or why are they not included?

QUESTION
I am trying to add subscribers to my newsletter using the Revue api. According to the documentation, I need to add a header called 'Authorization' and value 'Token MY-TOKEN' in my requests.
In order to test out the API I am using Postman as seen in the screenshot below:
Any request I do to any url, ends up with a 401.
What am I missing here? The token value is copy pasted from the bottom of https://www.getrevue.co/app/integrations ('Your API key is xyz') as the documentation mentions. Double checked that there are no extra spaces added.
...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Jan-06 at 07:43If you have the following when you log in to Revue
"We are reviewing your account."
You will not be able to make API calls and will get a 401.
I've talked to support on the issue and unfortunately, it's undocumented at the moment.
Took nearly a week for me to get reviewed but it's working fine now. It is at the end of the Christmas period so I am hoping they are only temporarily that slow at reviewing accounts.
QUESTION
I have been facing this incomplete json error and unable to find the issue. The API response work fine in POSTMAN. But this issue happened in my android emulator and it only happened randomly. This project is build with kotlin dagger-hilt retrofit2 okhttp3 gson.

...ANSWER
Answered 2022-Mar-03 at 12:02I suspect the Android emulator might be interfering with you here. I’ve seen issues with it misbehaving, particularly on Windows.

If you'd like to workaround, consider changing your server to use something other than Connection: close
to terminate your response body. Perhaps chunked encoding or a content-length header.

I want to throw a custom exception if the variable is null and return it as JSON. I've tried like this:

method from Exception you are returning the Exception. And also you are passing the arguments in wrong order.

I have two apps in go language. user_management app, which I run (docker-compose up --build) first, then I run(docker-compose up --build) sport_app. sport_app is dependent from user_management app.
sport_app Dockerfile file as below.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-22 at 10:09For communicating between multiple docker-compose
clients, you need to make sure that the containers you want to talk to each other are on the same network.
For example, (edited for brevity) here you have one of the docker-compose.yml
QUESTION
I'm building a server which uses feathers and socketio.
I'm trying to use feathers channels mechanism to notify relevant users (connections) on relevant events.
Users belong to groups, so upon connecting to the server, I add the connection to the appropriate channels.
Upon publishing, inside app.publish
,
I'm getting the right data and see that the connection is attached to the channel, but can't figure out how to listen to it on the client.
This is a simplified channels.js

ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-16 at 08:17Does a port need to be opened on the clients end to create the channel so the communication line is 2 ways. Perhaps javascript will have some code to open up the clients port.
QUESTION
Well, I was doing a DDD project, specifically using redis, but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
The problem is, the swagger doesn't appear to me, it fails, but when I make requests in postman it works normally.
Thats the error:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Dec-15 at 15:11In my case, it was the SDK not running the proper net6.0 version.
While the whole project was using new net6.0 NuGet packages, the local SDK on that one machine I was working on was still net5.0. After installing .net6.0, Swashbuckle 6.2.3 was working again, and all was as expected.
QUESTION
The data I am receiving through the code is outputting to the cmd through console.log
but I can't seem to figure out how to make that same data available for GET
requests from postman. Thank you
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Nov-07 at 18:16You use res.send
in the callback of a request.get
. But in that context, res
is the incoming response from the API that you call, not the outgoing response created by your app. Only the outgoing response contains a send
method.
