QUESTION
this code returns me a black screen, what am I doing wrong?
python file:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-15 at 01:11The problem is that the kv
language insists that class names start with a capital letter. The documentation says:
Keep class names capitalized to avoid syntax errors
I think your code will work if you change all your class names to meet that requirement.

QUESTION
I don't understand how to apply hashicorp vault to inject secrets in my app.
The following link shows a couple of examples https://www.vaultproject.io/docs/platform/k8s/injector/examples
I used the environment variables example from the same post. But it seems not all the env variables are injected into the app. For instance, ENVs in one of my layouts don't seem to get applied meta property="og:title" content="#{ENV['NAME']}"
- shows no value. But the app is running, /vault/secrets/... has files with contents.
Here's a part of the Deployment config of my app.
When there're multiple secrets/templates, the Deployment is going to look ugly.
There's absolutely no description for configmap example but this is probably what I should be using instead of env.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Apr-18 at 18:36If you want to inject the vault secret into the deployment pod what you can do
There is one great project on Github Vault-CRD in java: https://github.com/DaspawnW/vault-crd
Vault CRD for sharing Vault Secrets with Kubernetes. It injects & sync values from Vault to Kubernetes secret. You can use these secrets as environment variables inside pod.
the flow goes something like : vault to Kubernetes secret > and that secrets get injected into deployment using YAML same as configmap
apart from this there is also another nice method of sidecar pattern.
for that, there is a very nice tutorial: https://github.com/hashicorp/hands-on-with-vault-on-kubernetes
another one : https://www.hashicorp.com/blog/injecting-vault-secrets-into-kubernetes-pods-via-a-sidecar

QUESTION
I am trying to serve my react app from Nodejs, but I am getting a GET
error which is odd because when I run npm start and run the react start script all works well, but once I use node.js it doesn't work. Also if I navigate to a route by typing it in or trying to navigate backward it throws an error. For example, when you first navigate to the homepage it takes you to a login page, and if I go to another page and then hit back it throws a GET
error even though it worked beforehand.
ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 23:09This behavior is coming from your express
app in the node.js server.

QUESTION
I made a website with PageController to control the scroll of some screens. And I made a menu section with screen names, and when any of them are pressed, the user will navigate to the respective screen.
The app is working fine. But I refactored the menu button so I can control it's style, and to add animation in the future.
But when I refactored the button, I can't pass the PageController index, or the nextPage function.
That's why I thought of using the provider package. However, I didn't the package before, and my setup seems complex. For I should pass the PageController state to the button, and the button should send the nextPage function with a new number.
How can I achieve this?
Here's my code:
The button:

Answered 2021-Jun-13 at 11:10You are not preventing the form from being submitted in your function. You do write return false;
but that won't work here as that needs to be done in a fashion like below where somefunction
will return false:
QUESTION
I want to implement a datastructure in native memory using the Foreign Memory Access API of Project Panama.
In order to do that I need an underlying Object array (Object[]
) for the entries.
In all the examples for the Foreign Memory Access API, MemorySegments are only used to store and retrieve primitives like so:
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-12 at 13:54Is there a way to store non primitives in a MemorySegment (e.g. Object)?
No, at least not directly. Objects are managed by the Java runtime, and they can not be safely stored in native memory (for instance because the garbage collector would not be able to trace object references inside objects in native memory).
However, as noted in the comments, for your purposes it might be enough to store the data inside an object in native memory. For instance, if an object contains only primitive fields (though, the same could be done recursively for object fields), it would be possible to write each such field separately to native memory. For example (with the JDK 16 API):
QUESTION
Dynamic imports is needed for me, eg. i have 10 layouts, but user only visited 3 layouts, I should not import all of the layouts, since its consumed unnecessary resources.
Since its dynamic import, each time i switch between Login & Register path &
, I got rerender or dynamic import the layout again.
My question is what is the better way to handle it, without rerender or dynamic import the layout again? Or can I save the dynamic import component into the current vue 3 context?
// App.vue this is my app with watching the router and switch the layout based on route.meta.layout

Answered 2021-Jun-12 at 13:47You could use AsyncComponent
inside the components option and just use a computed property that returns the current layout, this will load only the current layout without the other ones :
QUESTION
I am currently preparing html slides for an R modelling workshop, for which I use the awesome xaringan package for R. It is based on remark.js. Compared to ioslides and slidy, it does much better suit my expectations. I am absolutely excited! One feature that I missed, are scrollable "long slides". Here I leave of course the "slides" paradigm towards a mix between slides and ordinary web pages, but I find this didactically attractive to explain complex content and code. This style worked well with slidy, and I found also some hints how to enable scrollable code in xaringan.
Here I use the following CSS (found in a related post at SO):
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Jun-11 at 20:06remark.js
was not made with scrollable slides in mind, which means that it is not possible to implement scrolling without a major feature addition to remark.js
or breaking certain remark.js
features.
If you are willing to break some features, the easiest way I can think of to hack in scrollable slides is by altering the y-overflow
of the .remark-slide-scaler
class. All we have to do is add the following CSS:
