            LightGallery.js help!

Hello guys! I have been stuggling for a while with this web page I'm creating for a friend. I want to make a portfolio of his photographs. I am using lightGallery.js for it but unfortunately I have encountered some issues on the way. Here's the image of how it looks right now.

            No more than one row

I am using Bootstrap to make it a collage-like gallery but I cannot use more than one row.

using lightGallery and Jekyll: TypeError: $(...).lightGallery is not a function
            Asked 2018-Oct-31 at 14:27

I´m new to Jekyll and Javascript and I´m trying to implement lightGallery by "sachinchoolur" (on Github) with Jekyll. I had a look at related questions asked earlier here and on Github and tried the proposed solutions like a) changing the source of lightgallery from local to a web link b) changing the version of lightgallery/jquery c) tried different ways to implement it like: https://github.com/sachinchoolur/lightGallery/blob/master/demo/index.html https://olivierpieters.be/blog/2016/02/26/creating-a-jekyll-image-gallery#adding-some-styling-with-scss https://www.npmjs.com/package/lightgallery/v/1.2.6 Nothing worked and the error remains.

I downloaded lightGallery from Github and didn´t install it via Bower or npm. I was even wondering if it is possible at all to implement it via Jekyll as it is a >static< website generator but implementing isotope worked fine. So far I didn´t push it on Github as I´m just testing it and I was working locally. Here is my code:

            QUESTION

            Preload images with Justified Gallery
            Asked 2017-Feb-03 at 02:43

I am using Justified-Gallery to layout my gallery thumbnails. I want to implement a preloader so the images only show once they have been formatted by Justified-Gallery.

I saw this option in the plugin but I couldn't get it to work, waitThumbnailsLoad.

Currently I am hiding the div containing the thumbnails, and then showing it once the plugin has completed. Is this the best way or is there a better way to do this?

Yes you're in the right track, if your current code sort of works, then you can add a parent container to the hidden class, and add a loading animation to it, then use css to position absolute the images or hide the loader, up to you.
