            2D Slider/Trackpad in SwiftUI
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 16:45

I am trying to figure out a solution to create a 2D slider for x- and y-axis (think computer trackpad) so that I can change different values depending on whether the user drags horizontally or vertically.

            I appreciate any help/ideas I can get.

            Thank you in advance.

Mobile is displaying "miniature" of desktop content layout instead to adjust accordingly to its width
            Asked 2021-Jun-15 at 13:30

This issue is related to the same project that I posted another issue a few minutes ago and maybe it's simpler to resolve.

When I click the mobile icon in Chrome console, instead to use the actual size of the mobile it's emulating (in this case an iPhone 10 with a width of 375px) it shows a tiny contents as if I was looking at a desktop layout into a small mobile screen.

Here a couple images from my screen to make it more clear. Notice that the mobile view is just a miniature of the desktop view while I would like that it adapt the layout to the smaller width.

HOWEVER if instead clicking onto the mobile icon I just drag the console window to the left and squeeze the viewport manually it will work as expected and will redistribute the content correctly. See:

How can I calculate a new date conditionally based on other information?
            Asked 2021-Jun-14 at 19:02

I have a Google Sheet which is being populated by a Google Form. I am using Google Apps Script to add some extra functionality. Please feel free to access and modify these as needed in order to help.

Based on answers from the Form, I need to return a new date that factors in the time stamp at form submission.

This is a dumbed down example of what I need to do, but let's think of it like ordering a new car and its color determines how long it is going to take.

Car Color Toyota Red Honda Blue Tesla Green

I need to write a conditional IF statement that determines how many weeks it will take to get the car based on the ordered color.

            - Red Blue Green Toyota 1 3 5 Honda 2 4 6 Tesla 1 1 1

So if you order a Toyota in Red, it will take one week. If you order a Toyota in Green, it will take 5 weeks. If you order a Tesla, it will be really in one week no matter what color. Etc...

I started by writing some language in Sheets to take the Timestamp which is in Column A and add the appropriate amount of time to that:

For easier approach, QUERY would actually solve your issue without doing script as Broly mentioned in the comment. An approach you can try is to create a new sheet. Then have that sheet contain this formula on A1

            Formula (A1):

            =query('Form Responses 1'!A:C)

This will copy A:C range from the form responses, and then, copy/paste your formula for column Date Needed on column D.

            Output:

            Note:
            • Since you only copied A:C, it won't affect column D formula.
            • Your A:C in new sheet will update automatically, then the formula you inserted on D will recalculate once they are populated.
            • Add IFNA on your formula for column D to not show #N/A if A:C is still blank.
            Formula (D2):

            =IFNA(IFS(AND(B2 = "Toyota",C2 = "Red"),A2 + 7,AND(B2="Toyota",C2="Blue"), A2 + 21,AND(B2="Toyota",C2="Green"), A2 + 35,AND(B2 = "Honda",C2 = "Red"),A2 + 14,AND(B2="Honda",C2="Blue"), A2 + 28,AND(B2="Honda",C2="Green"), A2 + 42,AND(B2 = "Tesla"),A2 + 7), "")

I just launched the emulator App by double clicking it. It loaded (loading time is 10 to 15 min) with an audio to accept Microsoft licence agreement and login with current Microsoft id. It shows the licence agreement window as shown in below image:

I could not click the Accept button. So I could not proceed further. I used alt+mouse drag to bring the hand, but either the hand does not appear or sometimes even if it appears and moves, no raycast to point on the button. I tried toggling the Use mouse, use keyboard for simulation check boxes.

Thanks Hernando - MSFT for helping me. The Accept button in the Licence agreemnet window can be clicked by moving back and forth the hand using W,A,S,D keys.

Previously i thought that i should click using a raycast pointer. It would be nice if i can click using raycast because the current approach is very difficult for any new users.

Additionally, sometimes mouse and keyboard inputs doesn't worked for me. This is because the 'Use Mouse' and 'Use Keyboard' check-boxes under the Simulation Panel is disabled. We have to ensure they are enabled for using mouse and keyboard for simulation inputs.

            Draggable vue components

I ran into an issue related to the model; how can I add draggable to vue components instead of a raw json (as used in the example).

If you have a component prop that's being mutated, there are multiple options:

            1. Convert your prop to a custom v-model. It will allow two-ways bindings without problems. (Use the prop name value and sent $emit('input', this.value) to update it.
            2. Use prop.sync modifier, which is kinda the same as using v-model but the prop has a specific name. Use :data.sync="myItems" on the parent, and run $emit('update:data', this.data) inside the component to update it.
            3. Copy the prop to a data variable inside the component. So that the prop is only used as a default value for this data, but then it's only the data that's being mutated. But this won't allow the parent to see any modifications on that prop since it's not being updated directly.

I believe this comes close to what you were after.

            Two adjustments:

            1. changed widget positioning to absolute -- transforming with position: relative was repositioning the widgets in an inconsistent manner.

            2. had to adjust the translate -- I'm no expert with this library but it looks like the nativeElement transform properties are set relative to the position of the drawer option the user selects (the NOTE vs COLUMN options in your example). If you add more options you might have to adjust x,y for each depending on where the option is in the drawer space.

            Hope this helps and cheers!
