Make sure you have the corresponding version of Node and NPM. In order to do so, you can change them manually or using a version manager. The procedure for both approaches may vary depending on your OS. If you're using a package manager, we recommend n. This is how to set it up in most systems: a. npm cache clean -f npm install -g n n 10.15.0 b. npm install -g npm@6.9.0
EOS uses Strapi CMS to manage its content. Follow one of the following:
Install EOS's dependencies with npm install --engine-strict. The second argument (--engine-strict) makes sure that you are installing dependencies using the same version of Node and NPM as the EOS.
Now that you have all dependencies ready, you can run the server with:
Ready! Now you can visit: http://localhost:3000/
If you want to test EOS DEV environment with your production Strapi or the other way around, you can use npm run strapi:prod or npm run strapi:dev to switch where EOS connects. NOTE: You have to set your production credentiales
If you are developing EOS and want livereload, then run npm run browsersync in parallel in a new terminal.
