QUESTION
I want to use inputAccessoryView to add custom number buttons above the keyboard. And I have added the view. I have assigned the class CustomKeyboard to the xib file. Within the CustomKeyboard class file, I have connected the IBAction of the buttons. I have two textFields in my ViewController textField1 & textFiled2 & I have associated inputAccessoryView with textField1. When I am tapping on textField1 then my custom buttons are shown above the keyboard. My goal is when I tap on my custom button it should enter the value in textFild2. But I really don't have any idea how would I achieve this. Anybody has some idea plz help me out.

Answered 2021-Jun-10 at 06:30You can use delegates or closures to get call back from CustomKeyboard to ViewController. Example below uses delegate method and function rowTapped will be called when user taps on view.

QUESTION
The code below is from a simple SwiftUI ContentView. It displays an image and text, but the image stretches taking the starting position.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-14 at 13:11I don't exactly understand the "...image stretches taking the starting position". However, here is a basic test with your code adding ".fixedSize()". What exactly do you think is not correct with the results?
QUESTION
iOS 14 introduced a bunch of advancements for UICollectionView including the new UICollectionViewListCell. Using the defaultContentConfiguration, you can add accessory views to the cell. I'm looking to recreate an iMessage conversation row (mail is also close) where the date label is in the top trailing corner. Is there anyway to do this using the default configuration? Having to create a custom cell seems like overkill just for this.
Here is what I currently have.
...ANSWER
Answered 2021-May-06 at 19:44The default UICollectionViewListCell
has limited customization possibilities.
Your best shot is with a custom UICollectionViewCell
subclass. You will instead have the cell registration register your custom class, and dequeue cells the same way you would dequeue a built-in UICollectionViewListCell
class object.

QUESTION
I have an Activity that will scroll through a list of pictures, showing either a fullscreen picture (by default, when entering the activity) or the picture with some details below it. I do that by changing the visibility of the FrameLayout containing the details.
When the picture is in fullscreen, I want to see all of it, so I load it with Glide as such; when I want to see the details, I load it with centerCrop(). The problem is that when I want to reload the picture (from fullscreen mode to details mode), the imageView keeps the old layout, and uses centerCrop() on that (since the example is a screenshot from the same device, it does nothing).
If I just scroll to the next picture and back while in details mode, it works as intended. I tried some of the stuff from other posts (AsyncTast, invalidate, requestLayout), but none seem to work.
On swiping upwards from the fullscreen mode:

...ANSWER
Answered 2021-Apr-28 at 08:59Figured it out (kind of), so I thought I'd write it for anyone in the same situation. Since what you need is for the activity to recalculate the layouts and then run the code related to loading in the picture, it works if you use a handler, like so:

Install CustomView
You can use CustomView like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the CustomView component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
