QUESTION
I have a product tile component which accepts an imageSrc prop. Whenever the imageSrc prop is updated, I want the old image to fade out as the new image is fading in. With my current implementation, the animation does not work. I can confirm that the imageSrc is updating properly, however the image updates instantly with no animation. How can I get this animation to work?

does not support shared element transitions, since Fragment shared element transitions only transition within the same window (vs dialogs, which are a separate window). Navigation does not change this fact, unfortunately.

Install ImageTransition
You can use ImageTransition like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the ImageTransition component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
