Race conditions when using ViewProperyAnimators while testing with Espresso
            Asked 2017-Nov-08 at 23:58

I have a simple Espresso test that's failing to assert visibility due to what I'd assume to be an animation issue. I have disabled all animation settings on the device.

I found that explicitly forcing the animation to start instead of relying on the framework to start it fixed the issue.

It seems revmob.getBannerAd() return null because bannerAd object created when loadBanner(); called. RevMob take some time to start it's session.

I've added the AdMob (320x50 banners) to my project and tested it successfully in debug mode. For production builds I have ProGuard obfuscation enabled and banners disappeared. I've tried using these ProGuard rules but it doesn't affect:

Finally, I've found where was my problem - I shouldn't had set AdView's initial visibility parameter to GONE. Even through I've changed it programmatically to VISIBLE - it did not work in signed apk (still a mystery).

This can actually be done using XML themes. The TabWidget uses android:textColorPrimary for the selected tab and android:textColorSecondary for the unselected ones. Thus, you can achieve a text color change like this:
