Material-UI Theme Overrides for `withStyles` in Backstage?
            Asked 2021-Dec-14 at 22:30

How can I override the theming of a component in Material-UI that has styles applied to it through withStyles?

When I look at the component in question I see the following in the DOM:

I'm attempting to restyle Backstage and am looking at the MuiSelect component right now. Backstage has adjusted the styling of the MuiSelect by overriding CSS with withStyles. Looking at the DOM I am trying to adjust CSS that is being applied through the WithStyles(ForwardRef(InputBase))-input-75764 class.

In Backstage's Select.tsx component file, the styles are defined this way:

There's a guide here on how to override styles for named Backstage components.

For Backstage components that don't have override names available, they can be added such as in this pull request.

python: compare part of a string from a list of strings to items in another list and generate a third list
            Asked 2021-Oct-07 at 12:30

Given a list of names (list A) with respective titles, I am iterating through it to determine the title of each entry (Mr, Mrs, Dr etc...) by comparing it to another list (list B) containing exactly these titles and creating another list (list C) with their titles only. In case there is a name in list A whose title is not listed in list B, then list C should be filled with the name in full taken from list A.

Based on Jasmine introductory page, toContain "works for finding an item in an Array" and "also works for finding a substring". They make no mention of using toContain to find objects within objects.

If the response's structure is always the same/the fields userId and postText are always in the same spot, you can just do:

TS does need a concrete type so it knows which constructor to call. Fortunately there is a way to provide - via the constructor of your generic class. It'll look something like this:

I'm assuming you don't really need a cross join of 'person' with 'person'. So I'm dropping that logic from the sources.

I don't have and Oracle instance to work with, but I believe the code below, which uses a case statement to achieve your conditional need, should work for you:

            Install nadia

You can download it from GitHub.
You can use nadia like any standard Java library. Please include the the jar files in your classpath. You can also use any IDE and you can run and debug the nadia component as you would do with any other Java program. Best practice is to use a build tool that supports dependency management such as Maven or Gradle. For Maven installation, please refer maven.apache.org. For Gradle installation, please refer gradle.org .
