So, basically, the idea is: to see who is around and want to meet. Пример использования: пишем сообщение (типа твит), сервер его сохраняет вместе с нашим положением. Далее, другие пользователи в определённом радиусе (который они могут сами задать), видят это сообщение и могут на него откликнуться и продолжить общение в личном чате. То есть у приложения будет не только что-то типа стены, но ещё и возможности чата, а, быть может, и черты социальной сети.
