            Rails - NoMethodError in Home#new
            Asked 2017-Jan-23 at 19:12

I have converted a front end project to the Rails environment, and I have used Material Design Lite to design the form fields. I am getting the following error:

            NoMethodError in Home#new - undefined method `homes_path'

Can anyone help me fix the error?

Looks like your form is pointing to a route (homes_path or /homes) that doesn't exist. You need to create a POST route and corresponding controller action.

Ruby on Rails - jQuery events not working properly
            Asked 2017-Jan-21 at 06:22

I am migrating a front-end project to rails. I have two routes, /home and /home/new. The /home view has a link to go to the /home/new view. If I manually, enter the route on the address bar, everything renders perfectly. If I go the the view via the link on the /home view, the jQuery events don't function properly, leading to the styles dependent on them not working properly. There are no errors in the console. Can anyone help me?

This is how the styles should get rendered:

Is your mdDateTimePicker file/files that are missing/not loading located in your project directory? It's not included in the github repo.
