How to disable the "Hypersistence Optimizer" Banner when using hibernate-types-52 in Spring Boot?
            Asked 2020-May-19 at 13:32

I use the com.vladmihalcea:hibernate-types-52 dependency in my Spring Boot Project. And I notices that on application boot, some large log messages where added:

            ...

            Answered 2020-May-19 at 13:32

There is a description by the Project Owner why the banner was introduced, why it will not be disabled on default and how to disable it manually: https://github.com/vladmihalcea/hibernate-types/blob/master/README.md#how-to-remove-the-hypersistence-optimizer-banner-from-the-log

In short: You can buy a license and add the project as dependency to benefit from the checks.

Or you can add either a hibernate.properties or hibernate-types.properties file to your project with the one property to disable the banner:

All modules work with Java 8 or newer versions, and the project is set up using Maven. While most tests use the in-memory HSQLDB, some tests use MySQL, and, for this reason, you need to configure the MySQL database connection properties in the MySQLDataSourceProvider class.
